We’ve Caught Up

Back From The Holidays

We’ve caught up on voice and email from the holidays. If you left us a message, or sent an email to any of our websites, we’ve replied, answered, and scheduled appointments. If you didn’t receive a response than something went wrong.

Typically that means the email you provided for us to respond to didn’t work for some reason. If it was a typeo, we can usually figure it out. But not always. Sometimes it’s because you have your spam filter set tightly and we can’t get through. To fix that, you can allow mail from springshaven.com or paganspath.com.

Other times, we simply have no clue what happened. So if you sent us something in December or the first week of January, and didn’t hear back, send us a note again. You can get in touch with us through our contact pages, Spring’sHaven Contact or Pagan’sPath Contact. Be careful typing in your email address.

Watch your back. If you don’t step up to the plate, someone else will take what you’ve earned. You worked hard to fill your baskets. Don’t become so frightened or overwhelmed about doing the work that you allow someone else to take what you’ve earned. Now is not the time to rest either. Get your head in the game and get back to doing what you do so well! This is what you wanted. So hop to it!

Additional Insight:

We can spend so much time working on our dream that when it begins to manifest we stop and try to coast the rest of the way up the hill. Sadly, life doesn’t work that way. When you reach the top of the mountain, you still have the plateau to cross, before you can coast for a little while.

You still have a lot to do and ways to go. Pay attention to what’s going on around you. Make sure you’re positioned to do the work you take on. And if not, then it’s time to grow and expand. There are many people who need work and many more who want to help you out.

Don’t become overwhelmed by the turn around. It’s what you’ve hoped for, and worked to hard to get to. Now it’s time to get to it!

Make Today YOUR Day!
The only person you have to impress is yourself. Work on that by believing in you even when no one else does. Others will set limits on your dreams. They’ll place their fears of success and reaching for the starts upon you and try to contain you dreams. You can choose to allow what they call “practical” suggestions and council to limit your ceiling. Or you can choose to go outside the boundaries and look up at the stars where the only limitation is your belief in self.

If you don’t set your ambitions high, when you do yourself a disservice. You put your abilities and imagination in a box, packed away and rarely let them out to shine. But when you unpack the box and let your talents out to shine; you can become the light that beacons others to take notice. Make sure you’re prepared when they do and luck will fall on your path of hard work.

Remember that luck is nothing more than “Preparedness meeting Opportunity”. simply having the vision, the imagination and raw talent will only get you so far. All talents take time and attention through practice, learning new things that can expand your perspectives and inspire your next steps. Work on your dreams and with each phase you complete that moves you up to the stars, will allow you to pick up your trophy and be proud of yourself! Nothing can motive you more, than celebrating the little accomplishments that get you closer to that dream.

Don’t give up. The year has just started! The holidays may not have been what you hoped for, but they’re over now and a new year has begun. Most folks are heading back to work and to school. The attitude you carry into this first day of returning to reality will set your energy for the year. Start it with vim and vigor and the fortitude to move forward, conquer and overcome!

Additional Insight:

You can start the year with a defeatist attitude and put your head between your legs to kiss your backside goodbye. Or you can stand up and face the challenges of every day life with everyone else who chooses to move forward. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and start feeling pride for yourself. Your attitude creates the energy you will pull toward you. So stop pulling in the negative.

You are better off than you think you are and have more to be thankful for here in the beginning of the year than some. Remember someone always has it worse than you do. So you haven’t paid the rent this month, someone near you hasn’t been able to pay theirs for several months and face eviction or foreclosure.

So you ob isn’t paying enough for you to live the way you used to. Someone near can’t get a ob at all and has gone hungry for several days. Your car is having problems on top of everything else? Someone near you has to walk in the cold or blistering heat and doesn’t have the luxury of a bus to take them where they need to go.

Everyone can find something to complain about, no matter how much abundance they have in their lives. It’s easy to complain, that’s the culture we’ve been trained to live in. But it’s easier to look at the good things you have going for you and pull positive energy into your day. Doing so makes the next day even easier. And the next and the next! Before you know it, the good more than outweighs the bad and you’ve changed your life…and the year…for the better.

It’s a good time to remember and recite the years new motto: I am at peace and live in the moment with all the prosperity and abundance I require!

Bigotry Cloaked In Religion Is Still Bigotry

When people learn you’re a minister, they make a lot of assumptions about you and what you believe.

Of course here in the U.S. the first assumption is that you’re Christian. Once you over come that and spend several minutes explaining that Christianity is not the only religion that employs a clergy based system, you’re spend the next several minutes explaining what Paganism is. Ok that one often takes much longer, after they’ve looked at you as if you’re speaking a foreign language. But if they’re still talking to you, the next set of assumptions come up. What ever you call it, if you’re religious, you must believe what “I” believe. Continue reading →

Springwolf Reflections 2013 Annual Report
One thing I really love about WordPress is that they give you a neat way to look at your blog’s stats at the end of the year. It’s the annual report for your hard work and publication. In IT terms it’s called site metrics. And it’s an important part of marketing your services and/or products on the internet and through social media. As a former IT geek. that’s a boring way of saying “Hey looky what I did last year!”

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 52,000 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 19 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
