In the eMail Room

email-lostDealing With Passive/Aggressive Communications

I get lots of mail. LOTS of mail. 99.9% of the time it’s quite nice, with questions, compliments and requests for assistance. The typical stuff.

Every now and then, it’s not so nice. And though there are varying levels of rude and nastiness, the ones that get me laughing, and often get a response are the passive/aggressive ones.

I received one of those today. I’ve had a few students, and fellow Metaphysical ministers ask me how do you handle these? How do you not let them get to you? Well that’s easy really. I’m not what those people “expect” me to be, so it’s easy not to fall into their trap and react the way they “expect’ me to react. Continue reading

The Mission Within 2014

numerology-shamanisticA Little Numerological Insight for 2014:

I don’t think we’ve taken a look at the Shamanistic Numerology perspective of the year 2014. So let’s do that today. Because I’ve noticed a big theme in all the Daily Tarot Meditation messages so far during this first month of the year.

I think a little more perspective might help everyone with their personal missions. Not to mention give a little more insight into the events and issues you may face moving forward throughout the year. The more knowledge you have about the energy flowing through the coming months, the better able you are to make conscious choices that could make things a little easier for your own journey. Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Eight of Swords – Inverted

Eight of Swords - Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

It’s your own anger and frustration that are keeping you tied up and unable to get free. In order to for the bindings to loosen and fall away you must first find compassion for yourself and your situation. Take time to look for the lesson you’re refusing to learn.

Additional Insight:

The more you fight against change, the tighter you make the ropes that hold you in your current situation. Your anger over past events that can’t be changed, and current events that are frustrating and out of your control are material that have forged your bindings.

Things really aren’t as bad as you’ve created them to be in your head. Rather it’s your own refusal to let go of those things that no longer serve you in the here and now, and you anger at being pushed forward that are making everything harder than it needs to be.

You must relax, stop and take a breath. You must begin to show compassion, kindness and love for yourself. This has been a theme for the first month of this new year. Being kinder to yourself, stop being your own worst enemy, forgive yourself for the choices you’ve made in the past and love yourself for the good things you see within you.

You have the power to be who you’re meant to be in this life. And you are the perfect reflection of the Divine Spirit for the mission your soul is here to complete. All you need to do is stop fighting so hard against who you are and who your soul is trying to guide you to be.

Take time today and this weekend to clear and cleanse your energies. Get a fresh start for the rest of the year. Live up to your own potential and what YOU have come here to do. Not what others say you’re here to do, or what family members say you must do. But what your own soul and spirit know is within your heart and mind to do. Live your passion and everything else will fall into place.
