Time To Write Your Abundance Check 02/2020

wolfmoneyNew Moon Energy Reminder

The New Moon this month occurs on
Sunday, February 23, 2020 at 10:32am EST.

My friend Rev. Lyn Williams sends out a reminder every month on FB to Write Your Abundance Check.

I think many of us could use this, so I’d like to share it with you. It’s a great way of putting your hopes, faith, dreams or desire for abundance into physical action.

I love Rev. Lyn’s ritual, but I did change it a little to implement some Pagan specific perspectives. If you need some abundance in your life, give it a try. You’ll find the full step-by-step ritual here: Sunday Homily: Writing Your Abundance Check.

Enjoy the ritual!

The 13 Full Moons in 2020

The Full Moon

That Means A Blue Moon

Every month of the year will see a Full Moon. But Blue Moons, when there’s a 2nd full moon in the same month, do not happen all that often. Maybe once a year, or if you’re lucky twice a year. Our last Blue Moon was on Friday December 13th, 2019. Another auspicious event.

For 2020, we’ll only see one Blue Moon on the calendar. But what a night for it to show up! According to the Farmer’s Almanac Moon Calendar,  October will see it’s first full moon on October 1st. And another on Saturday, October 31st, at 10:49am eastern U.S. time.

In the world of Pagan Metaphysics, we call the observance of the Moon, Esbat days, or Ritual days. These phases are where we combine the energy of the Divine Goddess, in this case in the form of Grandmother Moon, with your own energy, for magikal working. Continue reading

Happy Full Moon Friday the 13th, 2019!

The Full MoonMay The Day Bring You Blessings

It is said that wishing on a Full Moon is very magikal. Like any grand parent, Grandmother Moon wants to spoil her daughter’s children.  While Mother Earth is asleep, Grand Mother Moon listens to our prayers and wishes to make our dreams come true.

And it is said that Friday the 13th is a day that brings good luck for transition and change. Breaking down barriers and overcoming struggle, it’s a day to let your magik shine.

When Pagans observe the magik of the moon, the period of each phase usually lasts for 3 days. That’s especially true for a Full Moon. Remember the ancients didn’t have Naval Observatory to pinpoint the exact time of illumination of a full moon. So while we know the full moon for December 2019 occurred Thursday the 12th just after 12am, we can still share her energy today on Friday the 13th.  Tonight the Moon will rise at 6:44pm eastern time.

Use the evening, after moon rise, to bring about Good Luck and positive energy that promotes the success for the change and transition you want most in your life.

Everyone here at Springwolf Reflections wishes you and yours many blessings on this special day that only comes around once in a very rare occasion. Enjoy the day and night with this full moon blessing: Continue reading

All this month we’re covering: Cryptids.
Although Cryptozoology is not considered a real science, it is based on the sciences of Zoology and Paleontology. Many Cryptids probably don’t exist, but there is a high possibility that others do. In fact, National Geographic proved that Hogzilla and the Congo Elephants, two Cryptids thought to be hoaxes or not real, did exist. If more Cryptids do exist, there are scientific evolutionary roots on to how these creatures possibly evolved. – Fandom’s Cryptid Wiki

This week we’ll be talking about:
Mothman – Changed the sleepy little town of Point Pleasant, West Virginia forever when it swooped in one cold autumn night in 1966. The first recorded Mothman sighting took place on November 12, 1966, near Clendenin, West Virginia. Five men were in a cemetery preparing a grave for burial when they saw something they couldn’t explain. A brown winged creature but it wasn’t a bird; it was a humanoid.
