Keep your creativity grounded and rooted in your own inspirations. Don’t worry about what others are doing or try to copy their work. Trying to hide your efforts does a disservice to your own wisdom and talent. And it could put your ethics in to question. If you are the artist and your work is being claimed by others, it may be a compliment, but don’t let them get away with it. It takes away from your hard work and more importantly your reputation.

Wands represent the essence of Enterprise, Inspiration, and Distinction. It is your inspiration that creates the distinction of your Enterprise. And your reputation. Protect your own reputation by being respectful and just, both for the work of others, and for your own work too.

When you use someone else as your inspiration to create something new, it’s an act of your own creativity. But when you use someone else’s view to duplicate their inspiration you are dismissing your own ability to create from within.

When you claim someone else’s work as your own (which happens a lot in today’s global digital world) you are setting the root of your reputation in fraud and like the fallen mushroom, that will fall into decay and rot. Give yourself the right to express your own view, imagination and creative ability. If you’re not sure what that is, take some time to write about what you see, believe and know. Use your own words to inspire your visions to create. If you feel you don’t know enough, then use your words as the inspiration to research, study and learn more.

If you are the creator who holds the imagination, wisdom and knowledge know that “copycats” are the great form of flattery. But in today’s society, your reputation means everything and allowing others to steal your work without reprisals could actually do harm to both your knowledge and your income. Holding respect for yourself in this case means knowing your own value and valuing your own contributions to others and the world. Respect yourself enough to not be afraid of standing up for the ownership of your own creations.

There’s much more at stake here than the immediate theft of property. There’s even more at stake than the immediate financial rewards. The biggest thing to be concerned about is the theft of your reputation which can impact your future. Don’t be afraid to stand up for yourself and for what is rightfully yours.

Don’t get so distracted looking through the window that your emotions over flow. If you want to be noticed, go inside and be part of the party. Your self-doubt is keeping you at bay from others, simply because your fears of the past have moved to the surface. And there’s no reason for it. Stop hiding! You might actually have some fun!

The lack of confidence, self-deprecation, and “What’s wrong with me” attitude is the problem. You think everyone is ignoring you, when the problem is, you’re pushing everyone away. There are many who love you and want you to be part of their lives. Stop closing the door in their face.

Several have reached out to, even those you don’t even know in real life. So why are you ignoring the attention? Why are you trying to play the victim, when you’re the one who is causing the self segregation.

Either you’ll come across as aloof and conceited or as a drama queen who’s looking for attention. Neither one is what you really want, so stop playing the game and stand up. The recent events hasn’t changed your worth or value. It’s only changed your emotional view of yourself that’s coming from a state of fear and depression.

Only YOU can change your attitude. Everything happens for a reason in the right time and space. There’s a reason you’ve kicked yourself out. You can no longer run away and replace what’s missing in your life with work and full plate. Now you must take the time to sit still, contemplate and open up to become part of the world you want to be in.

Believe in yourself. You really have more value in life, work and love than you give yourself credit for. You’ve managed to reach the pinnacle of success in work and life. Now stop letting the past overshadow your connections to love. You do deserve better than that from yourself.

Fan the flames of desire, you might create the warmth and security you seek. Nothing is just going to fall into your lap out of the sky without any effort from you. Everything worth having, requires a little work on your part. You know what needs to be done, so do it.

We all have dreams within our mind that we secretly keep to ourselves. We hope and wish they would come true, but we don’t do anything to help them manifest. You may not attract the movie star, but the one you do attract could be the star you’ve been looking for and who’s been waiting for you.

Dreams give us hope, but they always need a little work to help them come true. When we dismiss them without conscious consideration, we do them and ourselves an injustice. Sometimes they’re trying to tell us to believe in ourselves and we can attain the corner office. Or to trust your instincts and stick to the books to drive that expensive sports car.

Maybe the biggest lesson is to remind you that when you align your energy with the Divine in your life, any creation is possible. So stop making excuses and let the hidden desire be your inspiration to start walking, focus on your studies, put in the extra effort at work, or be brave enough to change a situation you know is bad for you.

The manifestation of your desire may not be exactly the way you have dreamed it to be. But you’ll never know if you do nothing to reach out for it. You may find what comes your way is even better than you imagined.

Today when I pulled the daily card it was still a little dark outside. I thought the card was the Eight of Cups-Inverted. I realized the error when I linked the picture to the page. Something whispered to me that it should be shared today as well. So here’s a second card for you Friday and weekend contemplation.

Eight of Cups – Inverted

Hold yourself in compassion and don’t take things too seriously. Even if no one else can see your wings, you know they are there waiting to spread and help you take flight. Let go of the fear and anxiety and allow the wings in your life to fly effortlessly in the breeze;  (be they yours, or upon someone you love).

Cups represent the essence of Emotions, Happiness, and Abundance. Simply because they are upside down doesn’t mean they are the negative or opposite of those things. It simply means you may need to turn a situation on its head to look at it from a different angle.

Perhaps you have already caught your prize, but your actions are holding it down instead of allowing it to take flight. Don’t allow fear to hold you back, or keep your goal from soaring high above the clouds. If it’s truly yours, it will merely help you expand your view and see the never ending horizons ahead.

If it does fly away, you’ve learned all you can from its presence in your life and there’s something greater waiting for you to discover its existence.

Never be afraid of change. It’s a necessary event here in the Physical World. Without it we cannot discover new beauty, appreciate new connections and be excited for new adventures that come our way. Believe in yourself, trust your instincts and stop gripping onto what you have. Have faith that what happens, is meant to bring you a better cup of fulfillment.

Trust your own judgement and blow your own horn. It’s not the number of people who know you accomplished a goal. It’s making sure the right person knows. That’s the difference between confidence and arrogance. Be careful which side of the line you stand on today.

Additional Insight:

Accomplishments can sometimes be a rare thing in one’s life and they deserve to be recognized and celebrated. But when you want everyone to know and boast about your deeds you undermine the positive course of your actions. It’s not the Shaman who labels them self as the wise person to be listened to. It’s those around them who bestow that honor and give them that label. Be careful about the claims you make today and who you share your news with.

Confidence doesn’t need to be posted and spread through the community like a town crier. The person most important to knowing your good deeds and successes is you. If it’s about work, your boss may want to know. If you’re fortunate to have a special someone in your life, certainly they will want to help you celebrate. But remember you never achieve a goal without help. So make sure you thank those around you who have made their own sacrifices to help achieve the goal.

There’s a fine line between confidence and arrogance and sometimes that line is dependent on one’s perspective. Those who lack self-confidence will always see arrogance, because they lack the trust in their own judgement. Those who have a lack of self-worth will feel the need to boast about their accomplishments in an attempt to elevate their value. Don’t allow your self-doubt or negative talk to take control and run through the town saying “Look what I did”!

Those who hold humility within will discover and hold onto pride from knowing they did a good deed or achieved a desired goal. There’s no better way to celebrate than to honor the self with a nice pat on the back, a special cup of coffee, scoop of ice cream or a quiet moment spent with someone who loves you and will help you jump for joy in celebration.

In the end, the best way you can honor an achievement is to add this rung on the ladder to your collection and elevate the belief in yourself. Trust your judgement and you will achieve the success you seek.

Playing the part of the fool will not win you influence over those who matter. Be careful how you portray yourself. If you want to be seen as someone who deserves to be respected, then don’t be immature and childish. It might be cute for a moment or two, but in the end do you want to be treated as a child?

Additional Insight:

The image you put out to the world is the image others will see you as. Do you want to be taken seriously, as a person with knowledge, intelligence and who should be respected for their hard work and accomplishments? Then don’t throw that away by acting coy and immature.

There’s a big difference between acting silly once in a while to have fun and acting childish to get someone’s attention. If you want to be the person who can be trusted and respected than you must trust and respect yourself first. You don’t have to pretend to be someone else.

Remember you are the perfect embodiment of Divine creation. You are as you need to be to learn your lessons and work on your karmic debt/credit. Be comfortable in your own skin and others will treat you with the respect you show yourself.

If you don’t like something about yourself, you’re the only one who can change it. Whether its physical, emotional or mental; you’re the only one who can alter its impact on your life. If you don’t like being overweight, start walking. If you have a disability, change your attitude and stop seeing it as something that limits you. Everything in life can be changed through innovation, modification, adapting and overcoming.

Be that person who is seen as confident in themselves, but humble in their thoughts. And you’ll find you don’t have to pretend to meek and innocent to win the day. You can merely be yourself.
