Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Five of Wands – Inverted

Five of Wands - Inv

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Make an offer of peace and end the war. You don’t like the constant tug of emotions and the only reason the fight continues is because one side or the other refuses to stop the battle. Pride is not worth the expense you’re paying in this war. Simply STOP!

Additional Insight:

No one wins a war. The losses on both sides are a huge price to pay for ego and arrogance, pride and self-righteousness. Neither side is right, which also means neither side is wrong either. So let go your pride and self-righteous indignation and let the battles end!

When two leaders constantly look for arguments to fight over, anything and everyone around them becomes a weapon. Those who get hurt aren’t the ones who control the battles, but those who are used as the weapons within them. Sometimes that damage can never be undone and sometimes it does nothing but continue the war long after the initial leaders are long gone.

Be careful what legacy you leave behind. Your actions today could define the lives of your children’s children and beyond. What kind of temperament and structure of character do you want to leave to them? No prize, other than the protection of life itself, is worth that price.

Make sure you know the cost of the battles you’re fighting and decide if they’re worth what you’re losing. If not, let it go and move on. You peace of mind is worth more than battles that might have been won.
