Looking With Better Eyes

How We See, Creates What We See

Last evening I received a comment on the Once In A Blue Moon post here on my blog.

You have a nice picture of a wooden chalice BUT it has a picture of a trap[ped] demon on the outside of the chalice. If you don’t believe me then look at the chalice close up!

It’s been a year since that post was published and this is the first time someone has mentioned anything like this. I’d like to share some insight about this perspective and how we see the world through the lenses we create with the energy we establish around us.

I looked at the cup in question (posted below). I asked my husband and son to look at the cup without telling them about the comments posted on the article. Continue reading

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: The Empress – Inverted

The Empress - Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

What you create and nurture is what you will receive. If you continually see doom, conflict, angst and anger, that’s what you will attract into your day and into your life. Be careful what type of self-fulfilling prophecy you create. You may not like it.

Additional Insight:

Many forget that walking a spiritual path means walking it every moment of your life. It’s not enough to give it lip service to impress your friends, or give yourself a false sense of “living right”. It means “Walking Your Talk”. ~ Meditation, Energy & Action ©.

In the world of Metaphysical belief we are part of the greater Divine Universe. We are connected to it, part of it and empowered by it. As part of this connection you have within you the ability of Creation. And you use it every day.  You have the ability to create your day in the manner in which you desire. That in turn will create your week, your month, your year and your life. You can create happiness, success, and prosperity in Mind/Body/Spirit.

You are the Empress of your life (yes even if you’re a guy). You rule over your life and allow things to happen, good, bad or indifferent. You make the choices and you decide how your day goes. No one else “makes” you feel a certain way or controls your emotions.

Because of this you must be careful what kind of day you create for yourself. If you start out with negative thoughts, you will create a negative day and that will definitely carry over into the weekend. But if you can rise above and align yourself with the Divine in your life, you can “Push Past the Pain” (a powerful quote I heard from Antoinette Tuff).

Whatever you go through in life, remember you can always align yourself with that Divine consciousness that you hold within you. You have all the energy and power you need to get through anything and Push past the pain. Don’t let it rule you. Don’t let it pull you down into the darkness of anger or despair. Don’t allow the angst to attract more negativity into your day, week, month, year, life.

Create the world you desire with calmness, peace, acceptance, tolerance and yes even love. When you can love yourself, love the day you wake up into, you can pull more of that same energy to you and overcome anything. So for today and this weekend, keep this motto in your heart and in the forefront of your mind “Push past the pain.” A beautiful lesson we all can appreciate.
