Thank You For Your Patriotism America
Thank you to everyone who got out yesterday and voted. Who ever you voted for, your action was an expression of freedom that has been paid for by many who have come before us and many who have given life and limb so you could do so.
Now that the votes are in, it’s time to bury the anger and political rhetoric. We cannot be a United people, when some groups are being restricted, controlled, hated or ignored out of fear and ignorance. Doing so breeds contempt, distrust and hate. Acceptance creates peace, respect and inclusion. A United States born out of a desire to be free for all, not for a controlling few.
We light a candle today and ask the Divine Universe to guide the knowledge and compassion of our leaders, that they may guide their steps with wisdom and inclusion. We hope our leaders walk a path of compromise for the good of all people, without fear, anger, or hatred. But rather in love and compassion for all. We hope that even though we may have our differences, we can all find common ground to share a smile, common respect and the return of civility once again.

Creative magik is afloat today. You have reached the pentacle of hardship and it’s time to remove the bindings that have held you down. But be cautious. There are still enemies out there who would want to secure those bindings with chains the next time around. They are afraid of where you’re going, and their fear leads them into darkness. Show compassion and light the way. If they refuse to follow, you may have to leave them behind for the good of your own self-interests.
Additional Insight:
How you move forward from this moment on will dictate the progress you make. Take one step in anger, hate, or frustration and you could stumble down the hill and be caught in turmoil again.
Use your freedom wisely and try to help others break the binds that hold them back. There’s no need to argue, no need to get frustrated or yell. Simply hold out your hand reassure those who feel an unrealistic fear about the future.
Take your time and don’t rush through anything over the next three to six months. Consider the consequences of your actions before you take them. Make sure you’re willing to live with the choices you make, not only in how they impact you, but how the effect those around you.
Walk with love and acceptance, compassion and gratitude and you’ll find sure footing on your path forward.

With the whirlwind of activity going on around you, there’s no way you can stay in the shadows and hide. Your attitude is being noticed, good and bad. Make sure today, it’s much more good than bad. Smile, be friendly and help others resolve their little problems and get things done. Your work will benefit you more than you can realize today.
Additional Insight:
It may not be in your nature to hide. But you have been doing a lot of that lately. The more the Divine Universe takes notice, the more you’ll be put in positions where you must be in the limelight. Why are you fighting so hard to stay hidden? It doesn’t support the dreams you have and the goals you’ve set. So your actions are in conflict with your thinking. And that is creating greater stress, anxiety and frustration that is strongly affecting your health.
Stand up tall and proud. Smile and step into the spot light. Show what you can do and why you deserve the attention and leadership role you’re dreaming about. No one else can do it for you. And it’s not going to come to you wrapped in a nice neat box on a platter.
Leadership takes work, effort and the ability to trust your instincts. Express your confidence, while still remaining humble and respectful of others, their ideas and suggestions. And today you could shine brighter than you could imagine.

Here in the U.S. it’s voting day. I hope everyone eligible to vote gets out there and puts their civic duty into practice!

Optimism and Smiling Help You Live Longer
There’s an old adage “ignorance is bliss” that pops up from time to time when I’m teaching or giving a lecture. Especially when the subject is about taking personal accountability for your life. Inevitably someone will mention this old saying and wonder why becoming more spiritually aware in your life means giving up that bliss happy feeling that comes along with attaining enlightenment.
The simple answer is, you’re looking at this from the wrong perspective. Because becoming personally accountable for your actions, thoughts and choices shouldn’t be a burden. It should give you a sense of empowerment over the path your life takes and the direction it’s headed into.
You have the free will and choice to allow every action you take to be overwhelming or a gift of insight and understanding. But that choice is yours to make. Others cannot make you happy, nor can they be held accountable for the choices you make in your life. When you stop blaming others for the things that go wrong in your life; you will discover that you had the power in your hands to create the results you wanted from the beginning. And that spiritual knowledge can and will help you change the direction of your path toward a more positive and optimistic future. Continue reading →
That little devilish character within is trying to tell you to relax and have some fun. Things have gotten way to serious lately and the perspective is causing you to miss the little fun things or humorous things that happen in everyday life. So stop waiting around for those big moments of celebration, they are few and far between. Instead enjoy all the little things that happen throughout the day that bring a smile or giggle or even a laugh or two. Besides, smiling makes you live longer.
Additional Insight:
One thing about being on a spiritual journey is that you learn to take more responsibility for your choices and actions. That personal accountability isn’t something to take lightly. It’s one reason why some people say “ignorance is bliss”. But for those on a spiritual path, the knowledge you gain should not be a burden or add to the weight you’re carrying on your shoulders. It’s not something that should focus your attention on the serious issues or choices that fall across your path. Rather just the opposite.
Walking a spiritual path of enlightenment should teach you that even though your free will and choices create accountability, they should also teach you that you’re not alone. You are also empowered to create the path of your dreams and that all things are possible. The knowledge you gain toward enlightenment should lift the burdens that weigh you down because you discover not only what’s really important and what has true value in your life.
When you understand this, the burdens in life are lighter and much easier to carry. The seriousness of stress and anxiety weakens and you can enjoy the little exciting and fun moments that pop up during the day.
Smile because you know all things are possible and you have the power to create them. Smile, laugh a little and let that mischievous devil out once in a while.

How Pagans Define Their Religion
Do we call it Pagan, neo-Pagan, Witchcraft, Wicca or some other label? Is ‘Witchcraft” the religion or is it something else? If we look at the origins of the word and how it was originally used, then yes, Witchcraft is a religion. But it’s important to look at the origins as well as the meaning of the words as they were initially used to begin this discussion. But it’s also important to look at how these words have evolved throughout time and what they have become to mean.
Words like people evolve in their meaning and in their use. When a religion such as modern paganism has evolved so much through the centuries, does it really make sense to hold onto old labels like “Witchcraft”? Some say no. Others say that was never the name for our religion to begin with. It was heaped onto believes by the early Christian Church and demeans our beliefs and practices.
So how do modern practitioners of paganism define the name for their religion? For that we have to start at the beginning and discuss the meaning, origin and evolution of some of the words and labels that are used within our religion. This maybe tedious stuff, but it’s important to know where you came from in order to understand where you’re going. Continue reading →

11/05 Our Topic: The Black Aggie
There are many ghostly legends involving haunted, glowing and moving gravestones in America. While these tombstones can certainly be strange, and even a little spooky, there are few that can be as eerie as the Black Aggie. A name given to a statue that once resided on the grave of General Felix Agnus in Druid Ridge Cemetery in Rock Creek Cemetery in Washington, D.C.
Join Paul Cagle and his co-hosts Sushi and Springwolf as we share our research, knowledge, insight and humor, play “Truth or Tale” and talk about the news of the day.

Start celebrating, you’ll find victory today and through the weekend. Your hard work is paying off and though it hasn’t felt like it, things are turning around. Don’t forget to acknowledge the spiritual energy you put out as well. Take some time to celebrate your balance of mind/body/spirit in both the physical and spiritual aspects. You’ll be holding up the trophy of success sooner than you think.
Additional Insight:
When we remember that we are both physical and spiritual beings, we can work toward our goals with ALL our energy and resources. Consequently when we do achieve success, it’s important to remember both natures in celebration and honoring the unseen energy that helped you get there.
While it maybe a good weekend for celebration, don’t forget to spend some time in quiet and reverent reflection. Perhaps a little ceremony to thank your spirit guides and the loved ones from spirit who helped you get through the struggles.
No one is an island and there are many, both seen and unseen who have been there for you, pulling for you and perhaps even helping you along the way. Don’t forget to say Thanks while you celebrate your own hard work.

Spend time looking into your crystal ball and deciding what you really want. Stop feeling guilty over wanting something more than you have. Dreams keep you reaching up and working to attain that which you desire. Dreams give you hope and aspirations. Dreams are what keep you going when you face the hardships in life. Sometimes dreams are exactly what you need to overcome the struggles of reality and get you to what you need.
Everyone faces varying degrees of stress and challenges. Yours may not be as bad as others, but they can still weigh heavy on your shoulders. Constant worry creates dis-ease within the physical body and can cause even more stress and anxiety.
Dreams can help us escape from those physical pains and mental dilemmas. They can help us find solutions, direct us to lessons we are facing and ways of overcoming them. They can provide a relief and express our inner desire for a better situation or place to be. It’s ok to have dreams, when they help to provide hope and strength.
Let yourself dream. You can become all you dream and aspire to be. Let your dreams give you the inspiration to go back to school, apply for that new management position, plan and budget for that overseas trip or find the happiness you desire in your life. You never know what you can achieve until you try.
~~~ A little disclaimer:
Dreams can be a very wonderful tool to help overcome challenges. As long as they’re kept in check, as long as they don’t create an unreal reality that you work on in your physical world; (stalking a movie star isn’t going to help simply because your dreams says you belong together). But the feelings of love and inner beauty, can fill your being and shine through all that negative self talk you do during the day. If you believe in you, then others will too.
