Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: The Magician

The Magician

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Don’t try to reach for everything all at once. There’s no way you’ll be able to grab it all. Focus on the things you can reach and allow those to help you build a bridge to the other things you want one at a time. Setting a foundation is more important to making things strong and making them last!

Additional Insight:

Whither it’s a set of goals you want to attain, or a relationship you want to build; going for it all up front will cause you to slip and falter on unsteady ground. Be patient! Take your time! Anything really worth having is worth creating on a solid base first.

If you push too soon, you will drop a lot of potential in the process. That could be the loss of respect, trust or a needed course for later requirements. Trying to have it all in this one moment could also cause you lose what you really want in the long run.  It’s not worth the loss of time and emotions.

Don’t allow the instant gratification of others force you into doing something you know will take you off your track. If they want to blow off the day and suffer the consequences, that’s their choice. You don’t have to follow them. If someone wants you to submit to their desire, which could put your future in jeopardy, then they don’t have respect for you, nor do they have your best interests at heart. If someone is putting pressure on you to hurry up and get to the end of your goals or mission; instead of supporting your journey on the way there; then they won’t be there in the end when it comes time to share it with you. Either they’ll already be long gone, or when you attain it, they’ll take it and run.

So slow down! Take on one thing at a time. YOU Control your destiny! Do it well and allow it to rise up and take you to the next level where you “need” to be. You’ll get to the top soon enough. And when you do, it will be able to sustain the weight of the many rewards you’ll find there.
