Forces are at work under the surface to bring forth what you want…and what you need. Don’t give up yet. Take advantage of opportunities when they arise. Don’t let fear hold you back from reaching for the brass ring. You’ll never know if you can grab it, until you actually try to reach for it.

Things won’t happen on their own. It’s not enough to wish or pray for things to get better or to happen the way you wish they could. You have to put real effort behind that positive energy. Stop limiting your opportunities by thinking you don’t deserve this, or qualify for that. No one ever got anywhere by saying “I don’t” or “I can’t” do something.

If you see an employment listing you’d like to have, apply for it. The worst they can do is ignore you or say no. Big deal. But you never know what might grab someone’s attention and give you a shot at the big prize.

If you see a work order that’s bigger than you’re little company, consider bidding on it anyway and giving your company a chance to grow.

If you see a position at school that you’d love to be involved with, go ahead and ask if you can be involved with it. Even if you don’t get the paid spot, you might be able to get in as a volunteer or unpaid assistant. The experience alone might be the bigger reward!

There’s nothing wrong with something you want and asking if you can have it. You never know, the answer may actually turn out to be yes!
