Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: The Magician –

The Magician

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Magik is aloft and floating around the spiritual & physical world. Be part of it! Success surrounds you today. Use your intuitive inspiration to resolve issues, conquer challenges and overcome burdens. Pull the magik into your heart and soul as the day progresses. By this evening you’ll be filled with a light that shines through your smile and lights your way toward a brighter future tomorrow. ~ Merry Samhain To One And All! ~

Additional Insight:

What a great card for Samhain and the spiritual New Year! The day is filled with magik and bright energy for a better tomorrow. It’s a day to Walk Your Talk and express your own inner peace and vibrance. Many around you question your character because of your beliefs. Others may actually avoid any contact with you. Today is your chance to pull the Divine Magikal energy into your spirit and allow it to work through you as a positive force of love, compassion and uplifting force.

Take time today to reflect on where you’ve been. Review your magikal journal and read the first pages you had written. How far have you come on your quest toward enlightenment and better understanding? How far have you come to change your life toward a positive future? You have made good and decent strides in your life. Celebrate those accomplishments, no matter how small or how large! YOU DID IT!

Take confidence from those achievements and make plans for the coming year. This evening when the world has grown quiet to sit in meditation. Take time to dance around a bonfire in your spiritual mind and connect with the spirits of the Divine realm. Communicate with relatives you lost this past year, or loved ones who can visit you in spirit on this special night. Make the evening as much about a spiritual celebration as it is a reverent time for reflection.

This weekend, use the magik you feel though today to set new goals and make new plans for the coming year. Spend time then to reflect on what you’ve learned and how you can apply those positive lessons to your path for the spiritual lessons you still want to work on and the achievements you still want to make. All year we’ve talked about “you can do it!”; now that you have done it, celebrate it! Because YOU DESERVE IT!

Thank You For Helping Us Help Others

Help Us Help Others

Our Indiegogo Campaign Has Ended

Yesterday was the final day of our campaign to Help us keep hope alive for shut-ins and the military asking for help. We’re calling it a satisfactory success!

We began our campaign on August 3, 2012.

Our goal was $1,700 and 18 people helped us raise $347 of that. But nearly 380 people helped us to get the word out and share our campaign across social media.

I can’t begin to express what these gifts mean to us here at Spring’s Haven. We may not have meet our ultimate goal, but thanks to Apple’s new iPad Mini we should still be able to meet the need! We’ll know in the next few weeks as we dot the i’s and cross the t’s. So stay tuned for our announcements and new face to face services!!

More than the monetary value, we truly appreciate the thought behind the support and the compassion everyone shared with those in need.  Knowing we have the support of people like those who contributed, shared, tweeted and helped to get the word out, inspires our day and encourages our mission.

Thank you again from the bottom of my heart and from everyone at Spring’s Haven.

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Two of Cups –

Two of Cups

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

You control your emotions. It’s not up to someone else to make you happy. You can accept the gift of friendship and peace, or you can continue to be angry and lonely. It takes effort and courage to make an offering of friendship. But it takes a little effort to remain stubborn and filled with egotistical anger. Make your choice carefully. It will set actions into motion that you may not want on your path.

Additional Insight:

The littlest decision can touch a hundred relationships, not only today or tomorrow, but throughout your life and even in your future incarnations. Is it worth it to hold onto your stubborn ego and stay angry?

You are not an island and while you may think you are in the right, withholding compassion and love only takes those things away from you in the end. Others will give up trying to be your friend and walk away to find love and compassion somewhere else.

It’s time to grow up and let it go. Your pride and ego are still intact. But they won’t remain so if you continue to build a wall around you that keeps others out or at bay. Tear down the wall of anger and hurt, learn from the conflict at hand and change what you can about yourself that assisted in creating the situation in the first place.

Remember, there is enough blame on both sides to go around. There isn’t a structured line between right and wrong. You’re both right and you’re both wrong. So get over it and move on with peace, love and compassion.

The History Of Samhain And Evolution of Halloween

Samhain – The Celtic New Year
Whether you use the Gaelic pronunciation “Sow-en”, “Sow-ween”, “Sah-ween” or the Americanized version “Sam-hain” (yes that is an acceptable pronunciation), it’s still the biggest holiday on the Pagan Calendar.

It’s the start of the Celtic New Year and honors the year that has passed. It is the time when the veil of forgetfulness is lifted between the physical world and the spiritual world. Where the dead are honored and communication with spirit can take place more than any other time of the year.

For pagans it’s a time of celebration, but it’s also a time of reverence and deep spiritual reflection for the past and the future year to come.

An article by the Library of Congress states: Pagans divided the year by four major holidays. According to their calendar, the year began on a day corresponding to November 1st on our present calendar. The date marked the beginning of winter. Since they were pastoral people, it was a time when cattle and sheep had to be moved to closer pastures and all livestock had to be secured for the winter months. Crops were harvested and stored. The date marked both an ending and a beginning in an eternal cycle. Continue reading

Today’s Tarot Meditation: The Devil – Inverted

~~~~~ Only 2 Days Left To Say Thank You For The Daily Meditation Message ~~~~~
Click This Image To Visit
Our Campaign Page
For the past 3 months we have been asking for your help to bring help to others. There are only 2 days left in our campaign. We know our daily message asking for assistance can be annoying to some. Over looked by others and heart wrenching for those that want to help but can’t financially afford it.
If our daily Tarot Meditation message has brought you any insight into your day, we hope you’ll say thank you for this FREE message and the effort it takes to divine the insight, write it up, post it on Spring’s Haven, here on Springwolf Reflections, our Facebook and Twitter accounts. It isn’t something we do in 5 minutes. It takes work and time. And we do it all for free. Helping us to help others in return let’s us know you appreciate that effort and want to say thank you.
But even if you can’t afford to help, you can still help. Go to our campaign page and share the message on your social media account. The more shares we have, the more we can get noticed and perhaps featured on the Indiegogo publicity page. You can help us. But it takes a little effort.
Today’s Message:
The Devil - Inverted
Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft
Don’t throw your hands up and walk away. Everything worth having is worth fighting for. So things aren’t perfect. That’s life. We don’t live each day to the standards of a Hollywood vision of perfection. That’s fantasy, so change your expectations. No one can live up to that standard. Not even you!
Additional Insight:
Where did you get the idea that the right relationship means never arguing or facing bumps in the road? No relationship is perfect and everyone argues. That’s life. Get used to it. If you’re throwing away the best thing in your life because you’re having a fight, you’re not mature enough to be in a relationship.
Grow up! It’s not all about you. Relationships involve work and communication. Everyone will get their feelings hurt and your feelings are no more valid or important than your partner. You may have pushed a button that stems from a deep emotional scar your partner faced in a previous or other relationship. Their reaction may have pushed one in you.
If you truly love each other, then hold the respect you have for one another to a higher level above the hurt feelings. Let the sting of the pain subside for a day and then talk to one another. Don’t talk to your best friend who will feed the flames. Don’t talk to your buddy at the bar who has no idea what’s really going on. The only person you should be talking to is your partner. Act like an adult who wants an adult relationship and communicate with each other and resolve the issue.
Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Four of Cups –
Four of Cups
Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft
Stop pouting and facing the world with anger and angst. All you’re doing is creating more of the same in your life. You’re not an island and you’re not alone, so stop acting like you are. There are people who care about you, if you will show that you care about them. YOU control how your day goes. You decide if it’s going to be good or not. So make your choice. Which is it?
As I pulled this card today I had a spiritual visitor who indicated she had a message about “that” card. Here’s what she had to say:
There’s a difference between being a lone and being lonely. If you’re constantly angry, whither it’s at a person, a project or a thing, people are going to avoid you. That constant angst is draining and pulls others down who maybe having a good day for fighting to stay on an even keel.
Others do care about you, but they maybe afraid to show it. You may care about them, but your blind focus on negative things keeps those feelings hidden or worse, appear that you don’t care about anyone else at all.
If you want your life to change, you’re the only one who can change it. If you’re tired of the anger and frustration, then stop going off on every little thing. You expect others to deal with their issues, how about you start dealing with your own first.
Sometimes my ghostly visitors tell it like it is and don’t pull punches. What I’d say is that you can go around beating yourself up and pouting about things you said or things you’ve done, but that’s not going change things. If you want to be around happy people or people who are handling their stress on an even keel, then you have to first be that person yourself. You can’t hold others up to a certain standard that you yourself don’t meet. All you do is pull more of that same energy toward you, and like a snowball down a mountain, it will grow and eventually it may grow out of hand.
Relax a little. Get rid of some stress this weekend. Take a real day off! Go for a walk or a drive in the mountains or park. Enjoy the changing colors of fall or the blossoming color of spring. Remind yourself and those around you that you love them and care about them. Show them in the little things you do. Pick up a cookie or piece of halloween candy for your best friend. Bring home a flower for your partner. Find a sticker or tiny toy for your kids. Let the ones you love know you love them.
