Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Three of Swords –

Three of Swords

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Stress and strife may make you overwrought today. All those aches and pains, both physically and mentally are piling up and wearing you down. Life is filled with its ups and downs. You decide how they impact your day. Try not to let the downs get to you more than the ups lift you. Whither it’s the changes in the weather or doing the fall chores that are affecting you physically; or the stress with kids, family or finances you will get through it. Don’t make it all out to be more than it is!

Additional Insight:

Sometimes a pumpkin is just a pumpkin. It’s not hiding any deeper meaning or warning you about a bigger issue. Today you might be letting all the little things pile up and seem like a big deal. But they’re really simple little issues that will pass and have no meaning.

If you can, let them pass by and take their energy somewhere else. If you can’t, try not to make a mole hill into a mountain. A simple conversation will take care of the issue and you’ll be done with it.

Consider a quick 15 or 20 minute meditation at lunch today to ground and balance out your energies to an even keel. Or perhaps take a 15min nap and dream about something fun and exciting. How about a nice calm old fashioned clipper ship balloon ride through the clouds, or a roomy submarine ride under the sea. Take yourself somewhere in your mind that’s unique, new and beautiful.

There’s nothing wrong with taking a little escape and getting a different view on things when you come back. Reality doesn’t seem so overwhelming after a nice few moments of peaceful fiction. It really is going to be ok and tomorrow is another day.

Tips For Turning Things Around:
Here’s a trick I share with people who feel they’re constantly facing the negative side of life and want to change the pattern.

In every day there are good and bad things that happen to everyone. It seems as if there are some people who can skate through the moments of negativity, nothing can touch them and nothing sticks to them. But look closer and what you may find is a person that faces each day with a positive attitude and outlook. You can do that too.

In the afternoon look at things that happened during the day and pick the littlest of the bad things and consciously work on turning it around to a positive. It could be a conversation, a broken coffee or tea cup that can be replaced with something new and fun, or one little problem that can be easily solved with a phone call. Whatever it is, change it to a positive. Tomorrow do the same thing. Take one thing and change it.  Don’t put it off until tomorrow, don’t try to fix it in a way that will run into tomorrow. Fix it now and today!

Once the event or item has been turned around, focus on the positive energy it has created in your day. Don’t focus on the million other things that went wrong. Focus on that one thing that went right. Keep the positive energy in the forefront of your mind and your self talk for the remainder of the day. Anytime something negative pops in, push it aside and go back to thinking about the good thing you turned around or that happened in the day. It takes effort, time and concentration; but you can do this!

Next week, pick two things to change. The week after that, pick three things to change. Continue the pattern and you’ll start to notice that the negative things aren’t piling up like they used to. Your change in attitude to calmly fix the issues with positive focus is changing the pattern of energy you draw to you during the day.

Don’t give up doing this. It may take you several days to turn the energy around enough that you actually start to make headway and turn a bad event into a good one. But keep working on it. The more you consciously put the effort into making the positive happen, the more positive energy you’re pulling into your day, your week and your life overall.

Remind yourself “I CAN, because I am one with the Divine Creative Energy. And so it is!”
