Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing – The Priest

The Priest

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Your presence brings healing to others. When you allow your spiritual perspective to guide your steps and reactions, you provide inspiration to others in need. Living by example goes along way to getting your message across, in business, in personal affairs and on your spiritual path. Take pride in the positive changes you’ve made in your life, but don’t become prideful. Take a deep breath of confidence as you walk onto a new road, but breath out arrogance. Allow your humility to speak for your actions, and though it maybe hard to do sometimes, it really is ok to take a compliment and say thank you without making a joke out of the praise first.

Additional Insight:

By rising above the drama/traumas of the mundane, you can view the world around you through spiritual perspectives. Doing this allows you to see the reasons behind events, why things have occurred the way they have and what lessons are being shared. There’s no reason to respond with knee jerk reactions and add to the drama that is only meant to manipulate you and those around you.

Responding with calmness keeps the power of battle on your side. It allows you to think things through with intelligence, instead of the expected emotion and planned response your adversaries are looking for. It also provides inspiration to those around you who are looking for direction, a leader or someone to emulate in hopes of making their lives better. When you practice what you preach, you are that inspiration. But don’t let the admiration go to your head. There’s a fine line between humility and ego.

It’s Nice To Have Dreams – Dreams Inspire, Empower and Create Hope –
Give Yourself Permission To Dream!
~ Springwolf

Our Humble Dream

On Sunday July 29th I posted a Sunday Homily “It’s Nice To Have Dreams“, concerning the power of having dreams to reach for and aspire to. In the Homily I mentioned “One of  my newest dreams was inspired by a picture I saw on Facebook. I would like to build this on our utility trailer, haul it to the Renfaire and use it as a divination house. Now wouldn’t that be absolutely awesome?!”

We keep talking about our dream in our family and everyone keeps coming up with great ideas. Including our 9 year old son. Who suggested we make a post on our blog to track the ideas and share them with our family and friends. He said “If we think about it and dream about it and that adds energy to making it real, then wouldn’t more people thinking about it add even more energy?” Well, ok; out of the mouths of babes!

So we’re putting his suggestion into practice. We’ll be updating this post from time to time adding our new ideas and progress to making this dream a reality.

Spring’s Haven Divination House
It’s Good To Have Dreams

When I first had this idea, I shared the vision with my husband who immediately started designing it in his head. When you share your dream with others and they support your vision, the exchange and sharing of ideas can add to the creation and manifestation of that dream. Not to mention, you can come up with some great additions to add details to your vision! Continue reading

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Eight of Pentacles

Eight of Pentacles

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Work on your designs and creative endeavors. Play around with ideas and see how they fit into your plans for creating what you want and desire. Put your energy toward manifesting not only what you need, but toward your dreams as well. It doesn’t cost money to plan, design and put forth some mental and visual energy toward your dreams. But that energy can keep your hope alive and help the ethereal work with you to manifest their reality.

Additional Insight:

Not only can you resolve issues or problems that you face in your life right now, but you can also inspire you creative thought process to work out the details behind your dreams. Don’t be afraid to think and contemplate about what you want to achieve. Be they long term goals or short term desires, putting energy toward their design is the first step to bringing them into reality.

While too much daydreaming can be bad, not visualizing your dreams can be limiting as well. So give yourself permission to spend 15 or 30 minutes each day contemplating, visualizing, putting pen to paper to make a list, or draw a design and define the details for your dream. You might even add what you need to make it happen or the steps you need to do to get it started.

Sunday’s Homily – It’s Nice To Have Dreams

Dreams Inspire, Empower and Create Hope

Sleeping WolfIt’s always good to have dreams. They inspire your imagination, keep hope alive in your life and give you a goal or more to shoot for and manifest. No dream is too far out or outlandish. You may be the person who discovers how to create a time machine or the warp drive engine that allows people to travel at the speed of light.

Every day the human race is learning something new. CERN’s discovery of the Higgs Boson has opened the doors to a wide variety of possible things that 10 years ago no one would think possible. Including traveling at the speed of light.

For me, as a spiritual teacher, having dreams creates something more personal and down to earth; Hope. Take hope away from someone who has nothing but hope and you will destroy that person’s life. For some, Hope is all they have. A hope that tomorrow will be a better day. A dream of living a better life can be all the inspiration one needs to endure, overcome and persevere. In the economic struggles of this “Great Recession” there are many, all over the world who have already lost everything and only have hope left. It’s a simple dream that gets them through one more day. Continue reading

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Six of Swords – Inverted

Six of Swords Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Bury the past and stop letting it control your today and tomorrows. Constantly scratching old wounds, should have done this or that, could have done that and all the other negative self talk will not solve anything. Focus on what you can do today and prepare for tomorrow. Let the old wounds heal and walk on the petals of life, instead of the thorns.

You cannot change the past. All you can do is change the way you allow the past to affect your present and your future.
~ Springwolf

Worrying about what you should have done years ago that may have allowed you to avoid what you’re going through today, is a pointless exercise in self-criticism. We all have things we wish we could have done, or changed. But dwelling on the past keeps you struggling in the past energy and allowing it to constantly exist in the now.

Stop it! Leave the past perceived mistakes in the past where they belong. Close your eyes and visualize yourself packing all the old criticisms into a crate. Put the energy of the mistakes in there along with the memories they generated. Then see yourself burying them deep into the ground and cover them up. Allow the cool energy of Mother Earth to sooth their ills and put their ‘souls’ to rest.

Now let them go. Don’t put a marker over their resting place. Don’t make note of where you left them. Simply see them at peace and walk away never to look back. Then turn your sight to the bright future that lays before you. See your path basked in sunlight, peace and abundance. See your path in the setting that brings you the greatest peace and self empowerment. Even if you look at today’s card, you can see the faeries looking at a brighter future. All they need do is step off the thorns and onto the petals. You can do this too.

You can, because you are One with the Divine Consciousness in Mind, Body and Spirit.
You are at peace and take your first step onto the path of a brighter and abundant future.
And so it is.

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Ace of Cups – Inverted

Ace of Cups - Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

A ‘goofy goober’ in your life is trying to keep you down. They’re puffing up their feathers trying to make them selves appear bigger than they are. If you don’t play into their game and give them that power, you will easily float beyond their attempts to manipulate you. The choice in this situation is up to you; not them. Remember you can, because you are one with the Divine Consciousness and nothing is more powerful than that.

Additional Insight:

No matter what age you’re dealing with, some people are still very immature and act like naive children. They allow their emotions to swing from one extreme to the other and often fail to think things through. They don’t consider the consequences of their actions and words, which will derail their attempts to succeed.

Keep this in mind as you react to their games and plan for your future. Don’t give them more power over you or your choices than they have..or deserve. Only you can give in to their stupidity and allow them to manipulate you.

When they try your patience, close your eyes and imagine your link to the Divine Consciousness getting stronger. See your silver cord move from your solar plexus, up your spine and through your upper chakras, out the top of your head and traveling quickly out into far reaches of the Universe. Then imagine the Divine Conscious energy attaching to your cord and effortlessly travel back down your cord, and into your head where it infuses with your higher Divine mind. See the energy fill your body from the top down, pushing out all stress and negativity down to the ends of your toes and out your physical being. See that negative energy quickly dissipate like a gray smoke floating away never doing harm to anyone again.

You can merge this vision and connect it to the words “I can, because I am One with the Divine”. Each time you implement this vision, say the phrase and over a few short weeks, you will link the two energies and pre-program your thoughts. You can then use the phrase as a pre-programmed vision that will be implemented automatically when ever you say the phrase. Which can be very helpful when you’re face to face with immature stupidity!

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: The Fool – Inverted

The Fool Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

You maybe flying upside down to hide from the face of adversity. But your unconventional approach is helping you traverse through the dangers and attacks of those that are attempting to knock you off your glider. Let your inner insight show the way and you will continue your successful ride. You may not see it right now, as healing is trying to occur at the same time. But you will succeed on your flight and things really will be ok.

Additional Insight:

You’re not a fool, though some think you are. And for now that’s probably a good thing, as it means they are highly underestimating you. That mistake is in your favor! Don’t worry about the snakes who are trying to slither their way across your path and muck up the works. They have no real power and when confronted, most of them will run away with their heads cut off. And the one that’s left has already sealed their own fate of failure, stuck in the weeds of darkness, anger and ego. There’s nothing you need to do about them, except stay on your unconventional course.

The key is to smile in the face of the obstacles they try to put in your path. Because you already know through your insight that you have gotten through their tangled webs and weeds. You’ve been able to see their attempts to keep you under their control, and so those have failed. Keep focused on the direction of your glider, you’re heading up the beauty and blossoms of the garden. No one can stop that, except you.

Allow the success from above and below to ease your weary heart and provide the healing you need for the remainder of your journey. Remember balance does not come from the ends of the spectrum, it comes from the middle where stability resides. Stay balanced on your glider and you will be able to continue your successful ride. Don’t allow anger to push you off course. Don’t allow an over optimistic view to cloud your sight and not take care of something you know needs to be done. Rather, continue your course, glide your way through the remaining obstacles with ease and you’ll be able to hoist the battle flag of success. You really will be ok.

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing – The Chariot – Inverted

The Chariot - Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Don’t turn your world upside down out of anger. Knee jerk reactions are never a good idea and they have not done you any great service in the past. You may discover what you became angry at isn’t accurate, or isn’t the whole truth. Set your anger aside and wait until you calm down before you put any actions into place. Patience and walking away until you calm down is the better course of action today.

Additional Insight:

You may already be living with the consequence of reacting to a situation first, instead of thinking it through. Don’t make that mistake again. Allowing your emotions to rule your path, whither it’s out of anger or from being overjoyed, can hide important details from your view. Details that if you had paid attention to them, would have altered your decisions.

Take off the rose colored glasses, or give yourself time to let the anger subside. Think things through, make sure you understand what consequences can occur and then decide if you’re willing to live with those choices. If your choice affects others in your life, make sure you talk to them first. They may not be in agreement and you may lose more than you bargained for.

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Four of Swords

Four of Swords

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Allow yourself to be cradled in love and compassion. Rest and release the stress that has overwhelmed you and taken the color of joy out of your life. You are not alone, you will always be held by your inner spirit and the Divine in your life. So while it may seem like everything has come crashing in, you will survive and your kingdom will find brightness again.

Additional Insight:

There are many ways to release stress from your life. Meditation, exercise, even giving yourself permission to have a good cry can help you let go of all that you’ve held inside. The only real constant in the Divine Universe is change. So while things are hard today, and the stress of loss or struggle seems to hang over your head, know it will not last forever.

Don’t allow your fear and anxiety to get the best of you now. Don’t lose faith in your beliefs, or in yourself. Rather now is the time to fall back on what you believe and to remember you are never alone in your fight to survive.

Start your day with a smile, even though it maybe hard and a simply affirmation to remind you that you can and will get through this!

I can because I am one with the Divine Universe
I choose to live with joy in the here and now.
I face each and every day with empowerment and love.
And So It Is.

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: The Lovers – Inverted

The Lovers - Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Even when it’s cloudy, you shine as bright as the sun. How your mood goes, so goes the reflection of the world around you. When you hold yourself up with pride, self confidence and joy, your energy can shine through even the toughest of times. That expression is then reflected back to you in the people you meet, the situations that cross your path and opportunities that come your way.  Remember to express the positive today, with a smile and compassion; even if it’s only for yourself.

Additional Insight:

Put a brand on your day with positive energy, compassion and love of self, and it will be reflected in all things you do. Remember you attract what you put out through thought and action. If you’re tired of the negative, bad luck, struggle and strife, then you’re the only one who can change it.

Stop looking in the mirror and seeing a failure or someone who isn’t beautiful or attractive. You are the perfect embodiment of the Divine and with your connection to the greater Divine Consciousness you can create the person and world you desire.

It starts with a smile, a look at the self and a good daily affirmation to remind you of your Divine perfection. Try this one:

I can because I am one with the Divine Universe
I am the embodiment of Divine Creation.
I love and approve of myself, and see others with love and compassion.
And So It Is.
