Don’t allow the low hanging fruit to limit your reach for something bigger. While those little things might provide instant gratification, they’re blocking your view from the bigger picture. Don’t let fear hold you back. Take the chance and go for the bigger opportunities. You deserve them!
Additional Insight:
The Ace of Wands represent the essence of Enterprise, Inspiration, Distinction from an individual perspective. When inverted it’s letting you know that your self doubt is holding you back from your potential and opportunities. Stop the negative self talk!
What more do you need to prove to yourself that you have the knowledge, ability and experience to reach for the brass ring? You’re doing the research, continually learning and make strides forward and you’re putting into practice what knowledge you’ve gained. All this should be building your confidence, not breaking it.
The fear from others, the fear of the past, the fear of mistakes, the fear of getting what you want are all creating the negative thoughts within. Come to the realization that you will make mistakes. You’re not perfect, but neither are all those other people who have ambition and have achieved their goals. Each one of them made mistakes, many create some really big ones. But each one believed in them self and made the stride over the hump and got through it. If they can do it, so can you.
You do deserve the big prize. You have paid your dues and lived through the struggle. You made your plan and put it into motion, knocking each step off as you built mini-successes. The instant gratifications are nice, while they last. But if you really want the bigger prize, it might be time to start ignoring the little things you can conquer and up your status for the big game!
Now stop the damn pity party and spouting stupid excuses for why you can’t. Get off your butt and get to it! Believe in yourself; especially when no one else does. You can and you will do this!
