Even a hermit must shine a light on his path to see where he’s been and where he’s going. Stop wandering around in the dark and take a moment to look at what you’ve gone through and what it has been trying to teach you. When you can see the lessons, you’re better able to turn back to the path you’re on and make the necessary course corrections.
It’s very hard to tell where you’re going when you’re not looking. Stumbling down the path with out understanding how you built the road creates the struggle you’re going through. It’s time to stop making decisions on blind faith and start looking at how you got here. Otherwise, you may be doomed to repeat the same pattern over and over.
For a moment, look back over the last year and be honest with yourself about the decisions you’ve made. Did you make them out of fear. Did you make them regardless of the warning signs. Did someone tell you what they saw you doing and their prediction came to pass because you didn’t heed their warning?
Now look back over the last 5 years. Do you see the same pattern of struggle and fear on your path? Or the same pattern of ignoring the warning signs and charging ahead without thinking things through? You’re the one who makes the choices that built the road you’re on. If you can’t see how you’re drawing the blue prints, you’re not going to be able to build a smooth and reliable road that doesn’t have pot holes, gaps or unstable bridges.
You’re the only one who can make the assessment of your choices. And you are more than capable of shining the light on your decisions and actions. The hard part is going to be doing it without fear. Don’t condemn yourself. Don’t punish yourself for making what you now know as the wrong decisions. Creating guilt is not the purpose of this exercise. Look at your path to this point with the eyes of an expert builder who is assessing the plans in order to correct the blue prints for the future.
You can make a better road. One that will provide for your journey with ease, beautiful scenery and maybe even some nice pit stops along the way to enjoy new opportunities and distractions. You create your adventure. How about creating one you’ll like looking back on and saying “I did that”.
When I published this post I was notified that this is the 855th post on my blog. Not sure why that number stood out today, but there it is. Now if you’ve followed my blog for a little bit of time, you know that when a number stands out I like to assess it’s meaning. Which means I put it through the analysis of Shamanistic Numerology.
The Actual: 855
The Designed: 8+5+5=18
The Calculated: 1+8=9
The number of Divinity, bringing together all forms of mind/body/spirit into one alignment.
- This number is associated with the Universe.
- This number is associated with the Oak Tree.
- This number is associated with the Raven and Crow.
- It represents the ultimate source of everything, The All, The Divine.
- Positive Direction: When 9 is present it represents accomplishment, attaining goals or dreams, the ability to achieve influence and impact over our circumstances.
- Negative Direction: In reverse 9 can be egotistical and arrogant. Making assumptions that everything revolves around its presence. Nothing else matters and there’s nothing else to consider if it doesn’t involve itself.
Well that certainly fits the message of today. Don’t you think?
