Sometimes when we are in an intuitive state, something will grab our attention to add to the information we seek. This happened to me on August 14th, 2014 while I was doing my morning work. Part of which includes pulling today’s Tarot Meditation card and divining a message.
On that day I typed a line “Why do you insist on focusing on the worst case scenario“, the digital photo album that sits next to my pc popped up the picture of the crow shown below and he grabbed my attention. Letting me know there’s more to this statement than we may realize.
If you’ve been following along with us over the past few months, you know that Crow Magik has been working fairly hard lately in our little part of the world. So much so that you can’t help but notice their presence.
Crows and their cousin the Raven are the messengers of change and transition. But that’s not always bad. Often times transition brings good things that we need and maybe even things we’ve been asking for. Even though we as humans often have a hard time with change, it’s the only constant in the Universe. It cannot be avoided.
Crows and Ravens bring us this message and remind us we are moving and our actions dictate the direction of that movement. They let us know things are in transition and now is the time to be Mindful of our thoughts, communications and actions. What we think, say or do will impact the direction of our movement and if we move forward with positive action, or fall backward and repeat old negative patterns. They signal that change is occurring and only we can create the direction of that change, forward. Continue reading →

Communicating With Spirit Through Divination & Psychic Tools
The following section is a contribution from one of the regular members to my original message board, Panther Witch. She has graciously allowed me to post part of her research on the History of Divination from the board. I have made a few additions & edits.
Divination: (From Merriam Webster’s Online Dictionary) From the Middle English “Divinacioun”, From Latin “Divination-, divinatio, from divinare”. Approximate first usage: 14th century
1. The art or practice that seeks to foresee or foretell future events or discover hidden knowledge usually by the interpretation of omens or by the aid of supernatural powers. 2. Unusual insight; intuitive perception.
3. The practice of sensing energy patterns around a person, animal, place or thing and interpreting messages from that energy.
The word divination comes from the Latin word “divinare” or to be inspired by the Divine. Traditionally, it never has mattered which God or Deity has inspired the events foreseen, but almost all religions have had their versions of diviners. It is actually more common than most people realize. Continue reading →
This week Venus moved into its retrograde state. It’s affects will influence our emotions until the end of June.
How Retrogrades Impact Our Lives Sometimes when we look out into space, other planets appear to be traveling backwards through the sky. Although planets are always moving forward, an optical illusion throughout the year causes the planets to appear to be traveling backwards. We call this motion a retrograde.
From an astrological perspective, these optical illusions impact the flow of energy here on Earth. Thus each planetary retrograde affects us as individuals and as a global society. How they affect us depends on the energy of the planet and it’s impact in the astrological charts. Continue reading →
Spiritual Communication Spiritual communication comes in many forms and for many different reasons. Most people think about spiritual communication as something between themselves and whatever their Divine force is in their life. Others see that and the ability to communicate between themselves and spiritual beings, such as spirit guides, teachers, angels and a like. Still others attach to all that the ability to speak with past loved ones and other spirits who travel the heavens sharing knowledge and spiritual understanding fiT the concept.
Not many will add to all these types of spiritual communication the connection between incarnated beings, from you to me or vice versa, on a spiritual level. Many of us on a spiritual path believe we are all connected through spiritual energy and interconnected through the Divine consciousness. But for some reason, we forget that means we’re connected to each other through spiritual energy. And just like we can connect through that energy to those souls on the spiritual ethereal plane, we can also connect to those who are here with us on this physical plane.
Some call this soul connection, soul communication, or something catchy like Soul Talk. In Reiki, we call this the Sei hei ki spiritual communication connection, where its used as a link for healing. And just as there are many reasons to connect to spirits on the ethereal, there can be many reasons and intentions for connecting to another soul here on the physical plane as well. When someone comes to you and says they’re from the Planet Gortair and they’re excited to visit your planet. Don’t argue with them. Simply respond: “Greetings and welcome to Earth. As a duly appointed representative from our planet, I would like to invite you to a tour of one of our finer medical facilities.”It beats wrestling them to the ground. – (thanks to Night Court for that approach).
Answering eMail From Visitors
Anyone who has a blog or website that provides a method for receiving communication is opening a door to some wonderful exchanges of ideas and thoughts. But sometimes, the communications aren’t so kind or in some cases are totally off the wall.
One thing that happens when you run a business or educational website is that you get a lot of emails from people who simply aren’t all there. I’m sure it happens to all types of businesses or educational websites. But I know for sure it happens to sites with a spiritual context. I’ve been building websites since the early days of the internet when only a handful of corporations had a web presence. I was fortunate to work at a corporation that was interested in innovation. Being in IT Research and Development in that corporate career, when this web thing came across my desk I jumped at it. Continue reading →
Communication is one of those things that people often mess up with expectations and assumptions. We expect people to respond to our communications in a certain way and when they don’t many people don’t know what to do. Assumptions are equally as good at messing up communications as well. But the good thing is, they don’t have to with a few little changes in our thinking.
I read an article recently by a journalist who shared a personal story relating to a miscommunication between her and her husband. Only I felt her conclusions to her story were missing a key point. She made assumptions that impacted her expectations and created the problem. Basically the short side of the story was this. The journalists husband was given the afternoon off because of a job well done on a recent project. He called his wife and told her about the nice reward. She decided to cancel her afternoon, pick their daughter up from school, ran by the grocery store and planned a nice special afternoon for the entire family. The time went by when her husband should have been home, but he had not arrived. Of course she tried to contact him on his cell phone, but there was no answer. Another hour went by and she was becoming angry. Two hours went by and her anger grew. Finally after 3 hours, in walks her husband all smiles and happy only to be met with her anger. She laid into him and in his defense he reciprocated the anger. In the argument he announced that his phone died and he didn’t have a way to charge it. Ok that explained the cell phone. His delay in coming home occurred because he took the opportunity to get a hair cut and stop by a store for shaving cream on his way home. Ok that explains where he was. Continue reading →
Communication is essential for every species on Mother Earth. It’s used for organizing a hunt for food, locating group members, mating, in play and in some cases for singing. No matter what the species, some form of communication is going on through vocalization and body language. Some animals may not ‘vocalize’ in the way we think of it, using sound vibration such as a cricket’s legs or lobster’s claws. But clicking, tweeting, howling or with words, communication is still going on all around us. The more complex the communication, the more room there is for miscommunication.
Which brings us to humans. Thanks to our ability to rationalize, we have often made a mess of communicating with others. We start at an early age trying to decipher tone and body language. We realize quickly what love, compassion, laughter and anger sound like. But even when we’re young it can be hard to distinguish between anger and frustration or compassion and love. Our elementary school teachers are often good at showing compassion, but many young children can’t distinguish that kindness from love, in the similar form that we receive from our parents. And body language is totally confusing with all of its subtleties, no matter what age you are. So we use our rationalization to read into what we hear or see and try to interpret the communication the best we can. Continue reading →
