Sympathies & Prayers

Our Deepest Sympathies & Prayers ~ by Springwolf

Our Deepest Sympathies & Prayers

Our Thoughts For Those At The Navy Yard, Washington, DC

Everyone from my family and at Spring’s Haven send our thoughts and prayers to all those involved in today’s tragic shooting at the Navy Yard in Washington, DC.  We hold all those who work in and around the area, their families and friends in our hearts.

Washington DC is in our backyard. It’s a place that’s home to me as I grew up outside DC in Northern Virginia inside the Capital Beltway. One cannot live in this area without knowing someone who works for the Government, Government Contractors or who are in the Military. It makes our area feel like a small community and when something happens, it happens to us all.

May the Great Spirits watch over the victims and those injured,
May the families and friends of those lost, find strength to endure.
May all first responders remain safe and clear in their mission,
May everyone find compassion for those in this community,
including the disturbed young man, his family and friends.

We send our thoughts, prayers, healing and sympathies with compassion and kindness.

We hope today’s event will bring clarity to America and it’s citizens to open meaningful discussion about the gun violence in our country.

We believe in our Constitution and our 2nd Amendment rights. Gun laws alone will not stop these events, or keep them from happening again. But we must stop yelling at each other and start finding the common ground from which we can build meaningful solutions to end the senseless violence that plagues our wonderful and blessed country.

The Ænigma Project – Mondays 9 PM EST

The Ænigma Project is a discussion group focused on the realm of the supernatural, paranormal and mysterious events that sometimes take place in our lives. Through multiple view points and experiences, we seek to enlighten our listeners and elucidate that which has become hidden beneath the many layers of misunderstanding and fear.

Join Paul Cagle and his co-hosts Sushi and Springwolf as we share our research, knowledge, insight and humor, play “Truth or Tale” and talk about the news of the day.

09/16 Our Topic: America’s Stonehenge: Mystery Hill, New Hampshire.
North of Salem N.H. lies one of the oldest man made structures in the Americas. A maze of chambers, enclosures, niches, walls, stoned lined drains, carved grooves and basins creating a small village that covers about one acre on the summit of the hill. Though not a true “henge” the stone village was built around the same time frame as its famous namesake in the U.K.

Carbon dating places the age of some artifacts as old a 7,000 years ago, while some are as new as 200 years ago. So who built this stone community that has been utilized by various cultures over thousands of years?

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Six of Swords

Six of Swords

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Sometimes it’s ok to look back and see how far you’ve come. Be proud of your accomplishments and let them overshadow your failures. You’ve worked hard, done much, made changes and improved your spirit far beyond what you’re allowing yourself to see.

Additional Insight:

Looking back isn’t a bad thing if you use it as a gauge for where you are today. You have worked hard and put a lot of energy into recreating you and your life. Take a moment to see what you’ve accomplished and how far you come.

Don’t dwell on the mistakes or the things that didn’t go right. Instead learn from those things and allow them to teach you for the future. Dwelling on the past puts thorns under your feet and blocks the way forward. Or worse sets an anchor that holds you back from your path.

You deserve to be proud of where you are and how far you’ve come. You deserve to feel good about where you are today compared to the past. And you deserve the happiness and the success you’ve been striving for.

So don’t let the nay-sayers or the unhappy people from the past try to keep you where they are. It’s not your place to grovel with them so they feel better about where they are. They’re afraid of letting you go, because it means they have to look in the mirror and see how far they are from making changes in their own life.

Allow yourself to be happy and stop judging your path by someone else’s standards. You know how much work you’ve done. You know how much you’ve changed. You know how hard it has been and the amount of energy it took to do it. Live by your own standards and be proud of where you are and how much you’ve accomplished.
