Look within for the answers. Be calm, cool and collected. You’ll be able to see what’s really going on from both a higher perspective and under the surface. Even though others are being deceitful and trying to take advantage of your situation; you don’t have to go down into the sewer with them. Don’t take the bait and remain compassionate, clear and focused for your own good.

When you show compassion instead of taking the bait to start a fight, you heal your inner-self. You strengthen your own position and provide energy that allows you to rise above the greed, ego and arrogance.

Others may think they’re fooling you. But in doing so they are also missing out on the opportunity to share the little moments in their life with you. That may not seem like much right now. But remember, snowballs roll down hill and become larger before they crash at the bottom.

It may take a little time to realize how much they missed out on. How much they sacrificed of themselves to be deceitful. But when you’re walking up the mountain and they’re still struggling to cross the bridge at the foothills below, they’ll wish they did things differently.

You don’t have to give back what they’re dishing out. Simply protect your assets. Hold compassion and love for yourself and those you care about. You will be able to see through their deceit and negative actions. And you will accomplish what you need to. Remember, don’t take the bait. Walk away, or say thanks and goodbye. But don’t get into the argument.
