You rule over your own emotions. Stop blaming others for the way you feel. You made the choices to make assumptions about what others were thinking or doing. It’s not their fault if you were not accurate. Take accountability for what you have done and be responsible for the consequences that came as a result of them.
There is a pattern developing around you and it’s not a good one. You want to be the Ruler of your Domain, but you’re not taking the responsibility that goes along with that job. You can’t have it both ways.
Think about how you are allowing yourself to feel. Does anyone else tell you how to think, push a button to turn on your tears or react with anger? No, these things are controlled by you and only you can stop jumping to conclusions and reacting to misinformation and misconceptions.
Stop taking the words of everyone else as gospel and then reacting to it. Especially if based on rumor and assumptions. Don’t be part of the rumor mill who rarely gets it right. If you hear something about someone, have the decency to talk to the person with compassion and ask them face to face if it’s true.
Don’t be one of the people who condemns someone without just cause. Either based on rumor or your own assumptions, you maybe blowing something up, that was never accurate in the first place. You reactions could be creating a snowball that you can’t control. Or you’re spreading a story that makes you look like the bully and causes greater harm than was intended. Remember what you put out always comes back to you. If you continue this course today, it will comeback and knock you on your ass! And deservedly so!
