Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Ten of Cups – Inverted

Ten of Cups - Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Don’t give up on what you’ve already gained. Fan the momentum of success and keep things going forward. You’re so used to the defeatist attitude, that you’re making it become your reality. Turn that perspective around and see the success that’s all around you.

Additional Insight:

Cups are essence of Emotions & Apathy, Happiness & Despair, Abundance & Lack.

Now is not the time to give in because things aren’t moving as quickly as you’d like. Or as soon as you think they should. You’re giving energy to the negative and bringing more of the same challenge and struggle into your world. Stop it!

It’s not easy to walk the spiritual path, but if you give in and allow the Divine in your life to guide your steps you will be directed to where you need to be. What you “want” isn’t always what you need and sometimes things must change and end in order to get there. Continue reading

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Five of Wands

Five of Wands

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Magik is in play, so don’t be startled if something comes your way with a surprise inside. The next 5 days will bring opportunities, some unexpected and some you’ve been waiting for over the past few months. Be gracious and humble as you accept these gifts and share them with those you care about.

Additional Insight:

Wands represent the essence of Enterprise & Inaction, Inspiration & Pessimism, Distinction & Disregard.

The little irritations you’ve been dealing with aren’t that big of a deal. Don’t allow them to create pessimism around your thoughts or actions. Set them aside and focus on what’s important. Disregard the negative nay-sayers, the defeated recordings in your head. Be careful you don’t allow those frustrations to get in your way and create inaction. Doing so could cause many things you’ve been working hard on, to backfire. Continue reading

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: King of Swords – Inverted

King of Swords - Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Go with the flow and be ready to catch what comes your way. Being strong and capable doesn’t mean you must be ready for a fight. Good leadership knows what battles are worth fighting and which ones should be ignored. Don’t let others control your thoughts or actions and the weekend is yours for the taking.

Additional Insight:

Swords can bring strength and courage to any situation. But it’s a double edge sword that requires wisdom to hold the hilt steady. It’s a fine line to balance the energy that wants to fight or finds a better way through peace. If you plan on a fight, you will pull that energy toward you and create self-fulfilling prophecies. So be cautious today and through the weekend concerning your thoughts and reactions.

Instead, be Mindful, calm and at peace. Avoid situations you know will lead to battles right now. There’s nothing wrong with taking a break and re-grouping your thoughts and energies. Rest, relax and take in the scenery to gain a refreshed perspective. Or simply get a way from it all for a brief respite. You could use the distraction to uplift your spirit.

Happy Irish Pride Day

Irish Cream by Anna Ignatieva

Irish Cream by Anna Ignatieva

Celebrating The Emerald Isle

Today many pagans see March 17th as a day of anger against a Catholic Priest who practiced genocide upon the pagans of Ireland. Much of this angst is over blown and not really based in historical evidence and fact.  But the idea that St. Patrick drove the snakes (pagans) out of Ireland, still exists and brings up passionate displeasure toward the observance of this Priest.

As with all things, this day has evolved and changed in meaning over time. It’s no longer solely celebrating the life of a Catholic Priest who was promoted to Sainthood. It has become much more secular and is celebrated by people in many religions and faiths. Here in the America’s at least, it’s more about Irish Pride than a religious observance.

To learn more, read about Why Pagan’s Don’t Celebrate St. Paddy’s day. And if you’re Pagan and Irish, honor your heritage by donning the green of the Emerald Isle and raising a toast to the ancient Clans of Ireland.

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: The World – Inverted

The World - Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Wear the hat of love today and show compassion to those around you. Even those you’re doing battle with can become allies and friends. Divided we fall. But united we can face the challenges and overcome the struggles. Don’t waste your time on angst. Allow the soft nature of compassion to wash away the anxiety and anger.

Additional Insight:

Hate and anger will only divide and destroy those things we hold most dear to ourselves. We feed the anxiety and allow it to become more than it really is. Blowing perspectives and differences out of proportion, taking us to a place we may not be able to turn back from.

This kind of battle is only based on fear and the fear mongering of others. We can chose to rise above or we can remain silent and allow these energies to fester. Staying quiet and hoping for the best as you watch silently is no better than putting your head in the sand. You cannot face down your fears, or sit back and ignore challenges, hoping they will miraculously disappear.  Continue reading

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Ace of Wands – Inverted

Ace of Wands - Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Tap into what’s hidden in the shadows beneath the surface and you’ll discover an unlimited source of energy. Show your confidence and ambition throughout the day with an ounce of humility that shows compassion and appreciation for all. Decisions are being made and you’re being watched by those who could advance your cause and dream. Be focused. You will be noticed.

Additional Insight:

There’s a fine line between arrogance and confidence. Which side of the line you fall on will depend on the viewer and how they see themselves. Those who secretly hold onto self-doubt will see your strengths as arrogant. Those who appreciate the confidence in others, will see your strengths as assets and beneficial to their plans.

How others see you isn’t the important aspect of the day. How you see yourself is where the focus should be today. It will allow you to support those who are lacking in self-esteem. Continue reading

Ace Of Swords - Inverted

Showing strength isn’t achieved through putting others down through name calling or falsehoods. Watch your words not only in what you say, but how you say it. Be open to new ideas that may expand your thinking or provide inspiration. You can get through the day in triumph by showing a little humility and appreciation for what others have to offer.

Additional Insight:

Swords represent Strength & Weakness, Endurance & Struggle, Respect & Animosity.

How you speak and share ideas says a lot about who you are and the path you walk. Your words can be a double edge sword constantly slicing into those around you. Or it can be a symbol of celebration and pride for yourself or for all those who work around you or with you.

If you must put others down so you look bigger, wiser or more important than your neighbor, you’ll create animosity and strife. Not only from others, but from within yourself as well. So be very careful about the wars you might create or take on today. You could start a war that you’re not ready for and battles that you can never win.

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Ten of Wands – Inverted

10 of Wands - Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Make sure you’re keeping an eye on things and not getting bogged down or tied up in things you don’t want to be involved with. You’ll get through the week if you stick to your budget and/or your plans for the day. Time to apply your will power and don’t give in to the whims of others. It’s a day to stay the course.

Additional Insight:

Others may not care about tomorrow, but you’ve seen the consequences of those actions. They choose to throw caution to the wind and goof off as they like, not caring about the consequences. They can deal with the credit collectors and in general be miserable because of their bad choices. Save for those few hours of glee when they decide not to care or exercise some self-control.

Learn from their mistakes and keep a vigil over your own path. You’ll avoid the pitfalls and traps. Doing so now will help you down the road when you can be frivolous in a responsible way. It’s not as boring as it sounds. But it is much more practical. Not to mention much smarter and safer for your outlook on things.

Everyone Loves A Love Story

Insights Behind Love

Back on May 15, 2012 I wrote an article about Soul Mates, Twin Souls & Karmic Relationships. It became the most popular post here on Springwolf Reflections. Until, I wrote about my research concerning The Legend Of The Sun and The Moon in June 2014.

Celebrate the love of your soul mate” and variations of that always pop up around February 14th and Valentines Day. But it’s also a sentiment that people are drawn to when they want to celebrate their love with the one who is most dear to them. The idea however is one that has evolved over time and thanks to the greeting card companies has taken on a different meaning than its spiritual definition.

Tell me the story about how the Sun loved the Moon so much he died every night to let her breathe.” It’s a beautiful line that pulls at the hearts of many to want to learn more. Storytellers and romantics alike want to know the origins of that line and where it comes from. They want to hear or read the whole story and share it with the ones they love. Continue reading

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: The Priest – Inverted

The Priest - Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Cross your fingers and toes, things are about to manifest in your favor. Today and through the weekend, you’ll come across many little successes. Each one will build on the next and by Monday, you’ll be in a much better place; Mind/Body & Spirit.

Additional Insight:

There’s no need to get upset or worry. Don’t be your own nay-sayer. Stop putting yourself down and stop looking at the struggle instead of the accomplishments. Today work on the little things that give you comfort and help you relax. But keep the wheels spinning forward in positive light. As long as you’re moving forward, no matter what the pace, you’re getting there.

Don’t let others bait you into a fight or doing something you really didn’t want to do in the first place. You don’t need their approval. They’re working so hard to get you to do what they want, because they need YOUR approval. Those that try to push you, are afraid you’ll leave them alone. A little compassion and understand will go a long way to reduce the conflict. But kindness doesn’t mean giving in.
