10 Commandments To Live By

Imitate Nature's Respect

Respect & Support The Self & Each Other

Keeping Your Perspectives Positive

My husband and I have recently faced some business challenges that brought a great deal of stress into your lives. I’m blessed with the partnership I have with him. When challenges come our way we seem to grow closer and face them as a united front. But we’re human like all couples and we do get annoyed with each other from time to time. Thankfully, our annoyances are pretty mild and don’t last a long time. We still end up pulling together and wading through the issues that fall on our plate and success with support and respect for each other.

Sometimes we all get into a rut and continue a fight that deep down we know maybe a loosing battle. We can refuse to see the inevitable out of fear of change, or the unknown. Or because the known “evil” is more secure than what maybe around the corner that we don’t know.

When we fall into that rut, the Divine has a way of pushing us along to help move our energy and to get us to something better. We may not always see what’s going on as it’s happening, but hindsight is always 20/20 and becomes clear when we have made it through the change. Continue reading

A Reiki Master’s Hanko Seal

My Personal Hanko

A Personal Symbol of Empowerment

In Japan, seals in general are referred to as inkan or hanko. The first evidence of writing in Japan is a hanko dating from AD 57, made of solid gold and belonging to the Emperor. At first, only the Emperor and his most trusted vassals held a hanko seal, as they were a symbol of the Emperor’s authority. Noble people began using their own personal hanko after 750 AD, and the Samurai began using them sometime in the Middle Ages. At the time, the Samurai were permitted exclusive use of red ink for their hanko impressions. Modernization of these seals began in 1870, and the hanko finally came into general use throughout Japanese society.

Traditionally, inkan and hanko are engraved on the end of a finger-length stick of stone, wood, bone, or ivory, with a diameter between 25 and 75 millimeters (1 and 3 in). Their carving is a form of calligraphic art. The most common form of this calligraphic art is the Japanese Kanji — the Chinese script.

They are still used in Asia for professional and personal purposes. Most requiring registration with local government offices much like a trademark. Continue reading

Science Catches Up With Holistic Healing

Long Distance Energy Healers Take Note

Science is catching up with what spiritual energy healers have known for years. That trained holistic healers can and do affect change over long distances with energy.

MIT and Princeton trained physicist Dr. Claude Swanson discussed subtle forms of energy that provide scientific evidence for long-distance healing on the radio show Coast To Coast.

Soul Talk & Soul Permission

Spiritual Communication
Soul ConnectionsSpiritual communication comes in many forms and for many different reasons. Most people think about spiritual communication as something between themselves and whatever their Divine force is in their life. Others see that and the ability to communicate between themselves and spiritual beings, such as spirit guides, teachers, angels and a like. Still others attach to all that the ability to speak with past loved ones and other spirits who travel the heavens sharing knowledge and spiritual understanding fiT the concept.

Not many will add to all these types of spiritual communication the connection between incarnated beings, from you to me or vice versa, on a spiritual level. Many of us on a spiritual path believe we are all connected through spiritual energy and interconnected through the Divine consciousness. But for some reason, we forget that means we’re connected to each other through spiritual energy. And just like we can connect through that energy to those souls on the spiritual ethereal plane, we can also connect to those who are here with us on this physical plane.

Some call this soul connection, soul communication, or something catchy like Soul Talk. In Reiki, we call this the Sei hei ki spiritual communication connection, where its used as a link for healing. And just as there are many reasons to connect to spirits on the ethereal, there can be many reasons and intentions for connecting to another soul here on the physical plane as well. Continue reading

What Is A Spiritual Expert – Part IV

Divine Holistic Healing

Divine Holistic HealingDivine healing, Faith healing, holistic healing, energy healing, alternative healing or a variety of other names all attempt to define the same concept of healing through faith. Divine healing in all it’s forms permeates all spiritual paths of belief. From the days of the caveman to present day, it has been part of our cultural world. There are of course a myriad of methods and approaches to Divine healing, from prayer and laying on of hands to stone therapy and long distant healing. Whether you use Reiki, crystals, massage, light therapy or some other form of healing, the idea is to direct healing energy into someone, or something that needs attention. It’s the belief in utilizing and directing unseen energy to those in need that brings these approaches together under the label ‘faith healing’.

Not all healing modalities are Holistic. By holistic we mean treating or affecting positive change in the whole being, Mind/Body/Spirit. Modern science slowly moved away from treating the whole body and began focusing on the physics of the physical body. This gave us great advances in medicine, but it also left the mind and spirit behind to fend for themselves. Over time, science began to recognize the effects and attitudes of the mind and started to document the impacts on the physical condition of the body. From this, Psychology slowly became part of mainstream science and at least two thirds of the whole being can be treated now. But these mainstream institutions have been slow to acknowledge the impact of the spirit and belief in overall health. Continue reading

Welcome to SpringWolf Reflections!

swlogo-lgSpiritual Inspiration & Thought

We’re just getting started. We hope you’ll stay tuned and come back often to visit.

The world is moving quickly and changes are constantly flying by. The same is true for websites. This year we’ve decided to move my official author site from a generic static website to a blog. This change is very exciting and will allow me to share insight, inspiration, news and discussion on a broader scale than we’ve been providing on Facebook.

I hope you like the new look and will enjoy the greater interaction! I know I’m looking forward to it.
