What you have isn’t as important as what you have within your own heart and soul.

Those that continually fight for the bigger check, the greater praise or the more powerful position lose much more than they think they gain. They place their own self-interests above everything else and soon find no one to share their accomplishments with. No one who will appreciate what it can provide. And no one to be there with love and compassion when things go array. What is all that success worth in those moments? Not much.

It’s not a daunting forest that you’ll need to claw through. Because you don’t have to tend to the entire forest. The more you struggle the more harm you’ll be doing to your own future. Be careful you don’t clip your wings and assume the worst. You have the chance to achieve everything you’ve worked for, so don’t give in and don’t give up. Change your view and see the love you already have around you. It can lift you out of this negative mindset you find yourself in.

The more you put yourself down or take on shame, you’re only digging into old scars. Not to mention, building new ones. Enough, you’ve learned those lessons and there’s no need to replay them in your head. Let them heal already and then let them go. 

August is going to be your time to shine and feel alive again. You’ve seen it coming and you know it’s on the horizon. But for some, you think it’s illusion or it’s not real or it can’t happen. Why do you keep sweeping the visions away and replacing them with the old dark memories? Do you really think you don’t deserve happiness and blessings after all you’ve been through?
