Stop valuing your own worth by the finances and possessions you have. Those things are fleeting and don’t carry the value of your knowledge, wisdom, leadership or courage. Don’t let the materialistic world set traps for you to fall into. Be open to all blessings, especially those that bring love, compassion and empowerment into your life. What you have isn’t as important as what you have within your own heart and soul.
Represent the essence of Finances & Debt, Possessions & Trappings, Business & Self Interests.
Those that continually fight for the bigger check, the greater praise or the more powerful position lose much more than they think they gain. They place their own self-interests above everything else and soon find no one to share their accomplishments with. No one who will appreciate what it can provide. And no one to be there with love and compassion when things go array. What is all that success worth in those moments? Not much.
Stop working so hard and share your time with those you love and who will love you in return. Stop looking for beauty and sex-appeal. Those things are fleeting over time and they don’t give you true love or compassion over time.
Find the blessings in the one who loves what you love because they love spending time with you. The one who is patient and wants to share time with you because that’s where happiness lives. Even when it’s not at the top of their list, they’re with you for you. Not for what you can provide for them. Just remember, you get what you give. And if you want someone to be there with and for you, you have to give that same effort back and be there for them when they ask for your time and attention.
Everything in life is a balance. You can’t have too much of anything and expect to have everything work out for you in the end. Too much work takes time away from those who love you. Do that for too long and you may find yourself coming home to an empty house. Spend too much time on your hobby, without the one who wants to spend time with you, and they may find someone else who wants to be with them. This is a day to review your schedule and ensure you’re not falling into the trap of excess over the needs of love and compassion. Nor can you live in constant compassion and love, without an effort to contribute to your survival. Love isn’t going to pay the bills. There is a time and place for work.
Take some time this morning to review your level of balance and be courageous enough to make changes where you need. Check the scales in all the areas of your life and determine what’s important to you. Sometimes when you can’t be there, all you need to do is share your voice. Share your laughter, listen and show an interest in the story coming from the other end of the phone. Be thankful for your blessings and let them all know how much you appreciate them in your life by giving them some of your time and attention without distraction or self-interest. You could save the blessings you thought were walking out the door.
