Stress, strife and anxiety are surrounding everyone today. Be cautious of your instinct to lash out and take it out on others. Your shields to keep negativity away and actually attract more of what you’re trying to avoid, if you set them with anger. YOU control your emotions. No one else “makes” you feel a certain way. So take extra care to control them today!
It maybe easy to lash out at others today, but be careful you’re not taking your anxiety out on someone who doesn’t deserve it. Don’t let others push your buttons. Make sure you ask someone who is annoying you to stop, in a calm and kind voice. Or ask to be left alone for a while today. You can communicate in calm responses and not make things worse.
If you’re in a situation where you can’t get away or tell someone to stop it. Let everyone know that for some reason your nerves are frayed today and you got up on the wrong side of the bed. Apologize now and tell everyone, you hope you don’t take it out on them. But if you do, you really don’t mean it personally and they should let you know, it’s going to be ok.
Remember though, they too may feel the same way you do today. It’s going to be hard for everyone to keep their emotions and reactions in check. You nor they, are perfect and someone is going to lash out sometime during the day. Do your best not to hit below the belt and take it too far. Walk away if someone really sends you over the edge and regain control of your emotions.
