What Matters Most…

CompassionDo You Reflect What You Believe?

Those who slap you on the back and laugh with you may be fair weather friends.

Those who hold your hand and cry with you are where true friendship lies.

And if you’re lucky, you’ll find the people who will share your life with you, through the laughs and through the tears no matter when and where you are.

What matters most, is that you’re one of those friends to those in your life.

I spoke with a friend today who was down and almost in tears. Turns out a friend of his, a young boy with cancer, lost his battle with the disease and my friend was notified today.

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Seven of Cups – Inverted

Seven of Cups - InvertedCaution is warranted today. Listen to your instincts. Someone with unclear motives is watching you from the shadows. Don’t spend your time trying to look into your crystal ball and ignore what’s around you. Doing so might cause you to miss the signs of danger. Change things up today. Take some work to lunch and get some things done out of your office.  Take a different road home, have tea with a friend, or go for a walk through the mall. Get out of your head, and into your body.

Additional Insight:

While you’re searching for answers, don’t become so engulfed in your own world that you ignore the world around you. You can sense when something isn’t right. Listen to those instincts and be watchful.

It maybe nothing, but then again it’s better to be safe than sorry. Whither it’s from being distracted at work and not getting the job done. Spending too much time day dreaming and not giving attention to solving the issues that are in front of you. Or ignoring your surroundings and putting yourself in physical danger. Spending too much time in your heart and not in your head could create a situation that you would rather not have experienced.

Remember life is about balance. Too much of anything isn’t good for you. Putting energy toward your dreams, self-improvement or relaxation is ok in its right time and place. But you’re still part of the physical world that also requires attention. Don’t get so focused on spirit, that you forget to live your life.
