Be careful over the weekend not to let your emotions get the best of you. You’re liable to let the self-pity create an emotional situation that isn’t warranted. Don’t try false means to improve your out look either. Keep your abundance in your cups for safe keeping and find other ways to turn that gloomy mood around.
Additional Insight:
It’s easy to allow the clouds to get to you and impact your emotions and mood. Consider alternatives to turning things around that don’t involve shopping or quick fix meaningless gratification. Those spending spree’s may be the worst answer to your problem. Now is not the time to spring for a big party and invite everyone you know to wipe out the cupboards.
It’s easy to shut yourself inside because it’s cold outside. But getting out in the fresh air is probably one of the best things you can do for your mood. Up here in the northern hemisphere – bundle up and go for walk. The human race spent 80% of its time outside in the past, there’s no reason you can’t get out there today. Down in the southern hemisphere you can grab an umbrella and still get outside.
Take a walk, listen to the wind floating between the leaves and playing nature’s song. Be quiet and you’ll be able to hear the trees singing along. You might catch the sound of squirrels playing or you might see something you’ve never dreamed of experiencing. Let Mother Nature show you the wonders of her magikal world and the beauty of her seasons. She has a lot to share and much of it will make you smile.
If you’re really in a place where you can’t get out, talk to your local pharmacy about acquiring a lamp that helps with Seasonal Affective Disorder (not enough sun light). Bring the sun inside and trick your eyes out of the dark gloom. Or force yourself to smile, even though you don’t feel like it. It really does change your mood around. Stand in front of your mirror, with the lights on and say “I love you”. If you can’t do that to your own reflection, how are other people going to see that you are worth loving!
Come on! Snap out of it! The world really isn’t against you as much as you’re making it out to be. You decide what mood you want to be in, so decide to make it a calm content one if you can’t make it a smiling happy one. So stop it and get off your butt and make the day into what YOU want it to be!
