Tonight! On The Ænigma Project – The Mary Celeste, Cursed Ship

Get Your Tinfoil Hat!

The Ænigma Project – Mondays 9 PM EST

The Ænigma Project is a discussion group focused on the realm of the supernatural, paranormal and mysterious events that sometimes take place in our lives. Through multiple view points and experiences, we seek to enlighten our listeners and elucidate that which has become hidden beneath the many layers of misunderstanding and fear.

02/11 Our Topic: The Mary Celeste, Cursed Ship
Was the Mary Celeste cursed as some believe? Why was she found derelict and drifting in the Atlantic Ocean in December of 1872, and where was her captain and crew? How do you explain the many accidents that befell this craft? We’ll talk about the misfortunes and deaths that happened aboard this vessel and discuss what eventually became of this unfortunate ship.

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Eight of Swords – Inverted

Eight of Swords - Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Stress and anxiety plague the day as you struggle against the ties that bind you. Remember that what you want, you must give to others. Keeping your nose to the grind stone may have adverse effects on what’s really important in your life. Be cautious. Someone is calling out for your attention. You may have noticed, you may have listened; but did you really hear.

Additional Insight:

When confronted with challenges, some people focus so much on solving the problem that they lose sight of what they’re working so hard for. Others yell and scream releasing their anxiety and pushing those they want to care for further away. And some shut down and go within, knowing if they do say something it may only make things worse. Leaving them to feel even more lost and alone then the situation has created.

Relationships are complex things and they take work to maintain. Everyone wants to be “heard” when they communicate. It’s not enough to talk and listen, if you don’t actually hear what’s being said.  But remember words are only a small piece of the communication we have with others. Our actions too play a key role. The words mean nothing, if the action isn’t behind them.

But the actions mean nothing, if the words don’t support them as well. You can’t do the little things and expect others to feel fulfilled if you’re not hearing what they say. It takes both words and actions to make things work. Having one without the other only lets those around you feel let down, un-appreciated and pushed away.

Take time today to give your attention to those around you who need it most. Actually hear what they have to say. Don’t turn the conversation around to be all about you. Let go of your ego to be the one who needs the peep talk and show your love, support and your respect to them. They will return the favor. But today, they need you to be there for them.
