Stop looking back at what could have been. Those moments are lost in time and cannot be reclaimed. Nor would you really want them to be. You’re not the same person as you were and you deserve better. Turn around and face the future with optimism. You’ll turn your cups around and have them open to receiving by August.
The more time you spend looking back at where you were and where you came from, the more you’ll put your energy in the past. You can’t fix the mistakes that were made and turn things around in the here and now. You must let go and get over it already.
Your future is brighter than your past. You’ve come over the mountain of struggle and stepped to the other side where the valley is vast and welcoming. The person you have become is stronger, more capable and better able to handle any challenge you face. You’ve learned a lot, you’re wiser now and you can make better choices because of it.
Let the old wounds heal and look to the future with pride. Don’t allow the emotions of the past to cloud your judgement or make you jaded. If you allow the negative shadows to rest in your mind, you’ll never be able to see the shining lights that lay before you. And you might miss out on the one thing you want most while it’s standing right in front of you.
Don’t let your old demons win the day by instilling fear in your soul, or assuming those in your life now are like those who hurt you in the past. Things today are not what they were then. Turn off the negative thoughts and get out of the old knee jerk reactions. Forgive the past judgements for what they were and move on to make better choices today, tomorrow and for the rest of your days. There’s plenty to be thankful for and more that’s yet to be achieved.
Take your journey into the future one moment at a time. Be mindful of your thoughts and simply stop the ones that don’t serve you well. Replace them with joy, a smile, a calming wave that washes their heavy footsteps away in the sand with ease. You have a clean slate to begin your new path into the rest of your life. Make your new choices with the view of peace, sustainability, empowerment and prosperity for a better future.
Take time at the start of each day this week to align yourself with the Divine force in your life. You only need 5 minutes to make it happen. Balance your energies between what you need from Spirit and what you want from the physical world. Then allow those energies to work on manifesting with the unlimited energy of Universal Creation.
Today is the first day of the rest of your life. No need to carry guilt over the past. No need to beat yourself up about what happened then or who said what or which thing didn’t work out as you desired. Get your mind into the moment of here and now. Feel your body, how you’re sitting, where your hands are and what you’re doing. Then be aware of your thoughts, the images popping into your head and the emotions that fill your heart. If they’re not pleasant, change them. Right now.
Start living in the moment and move forward with the happiness and love you desire. It’s that simple. And you can do this. It takes a small bit of effort. A conscious thought. A word of peace and forgiveness to yourself. Before you know it, you’ve changed your whole future for the better.
