Keep cool as best you can today. Don’t let the weather, the lack of sleep or others bait you into a heated conflict. It’s not worth your time or effort. Sit back and focus on your own thing. They may get even more angry at you, but that’s ok. You don’t have to take on their problems, especially when they’re not yours to begin with.

Additional Insight:

You have your own stress to deal with, why take on what someone else wants to dump on you? It’s not your problem, so don’t allow them to make it yours.

Today is a good day to walk away, close your office door or put up a sign so others will leave you alone. Sit back and relax as you get through the things on your plate. You’re not going to fix the worlds problems today, so focus on your own.

It’s not hard to tell someone, I’m sorry you’re having a bad day, but I have somethings on my plate that I have to focus on right now. If they get upset with you, let them. Don’t get offended by their selfish attitude. Their response is designed specifically to get you embroiled in their drama.

You have the power over your reactions. Walk away and don’t let them hold you in their chains of anger. Tell them you don’t have time for their drama and hang up the phone. Or don’t answer it to begin with. That’s what voice mail is for.

Remember YOU control your emotions. If you give into the manipulation and allow others to bait you into their dilemma, you’re allowing them to control your emotions. Do you really want to do that?

Your basket is filling up, but don’t put everything all in one basket. Make sure you save some seedlings for planting, put some away for safe keeping, use some for what needs to be taken care of, and keep some for a little fun too. The fun is equally important, as it spreads abundance around and encourages new things to grow.

Additional Insight:

When you hold everything tightly in your fists, you will eventually get tired of holding on to it. Or your grip will become so tight that you squeeze things so tight they slip between your fingers and become lost. Or worse, you will kill it.

You must trust in that the Divine Universe around you is taking care of you. Don’t hold on so tightly that you become tired and warped with anger and frustration that you lose sight of what’s already in front of you.

Don’t panic and remain calm. Do what needs to be done and stop running away. No you can’t fix every problem. No you can’t make others do what YOU want them to do. Everyone has to do their part and when they don’t, things may change. But in the long run, they may change for the better. At least for you.

Let lose your grip, lean back on the boat and relax the oar. Let the flow of the river take you to where you need to be, so you can put the gloom of the storm behind you. You’re going to be ok.

You are the master of your own domain. What you decide to do with it is your choice. Don’t let others push you around, or force you to do something you otherwise would not do. Take control of your own destiny.

Additional Insight:

It takes work to live a good life. Others around you may not care about the consequences their actions have on you, but you should. No one has your best interest to heart more than you. So why are you allowing others to dictate your future?

Pay attention and make the choices that are right for YOU. It your life and you should be the one living it, taking responsibility for it and making it into what you want it to be.

Don’t make decisions based from a sense of loyalty to someone else who wants something from you. Their selfishness may be trying to reap the rewards of your hard work. And at your expense.

The choices you make in the next few weeks will either bring great rewards, or they could cause you to lose everything you’ve worked for. Be careful! Listen to your inner voice and take the next steps with complete confidence in YOU…not in what someone else tells you must be done.

Put out your buckets and catch the rain that flows your way. There will be more where that came from. Don’t be afraid to dip your toe in. You probably don’t want to go all in, keep some of your resources in reserve. But you can fill your cups and make it through the week if you take advantage of the opportunities of the day.

Sometimes you need to be in the right place at the right time and today you are. Make sure you’re prepared to take advantage of the situations that present themselves.

You’ll have an opportunity to fill your reserves and make it through the warm months that coming up. If you let this opportunity slip by, you may have a rough summer.

Be alert and watchful on this full moon day. There’s much going on under its bright light and more happening then you’ll be able to see. It’s a night of new beginnings, so be prepared to take advantage of its midnight glow.

Don’t give up on everything yet. You have endured much more and a lot worse than this. Today is simply another day that the Divine is trying to push you in the direction you need to be going. Try to go with the flow instead of fighting every step of the way.

Additional Insight:

Sometimes things are tough because we’re not where we need to be or should be. When that happens the Divine has a way of pushing you in the right direction whither you like it or not.

Don’t be afraid to move forward and take the next step away from what you know or what you’ve known. Better things are in the wind and waiting for you take flight and ride on the breeze of success.

Remember, you can’t make an omelet without breaking a few eggs first. Let the breaks to the past happen and you’ll ease your burdens into the future.

You maybe feeling restricted today and not able to do anything. Try not to worry too much. The Universe is trying to hold you steady while the wands of magik are working hard to manifest the plans you’ve put into place. Don’t dwell on “too little too late”. Rather find contentment in “Every thing happens in its right time and space”.

Additional Insight:

It’s hard waiting, but that’s what needs to be done today and over the weekend. Things are happening that you have no control over and can’t even see. Information is getting around, news is getting out and the facts are coming to light. Hold steady and let the truth work it’s magik.

Since you can’t control what’s happening, you must find a way to put your trust in the hands of the Divine force that’s in your life. “Let go and let God”. Everything will work out as it should.

Take some time to ignore the rest of the world. Spend the weekend at home and catch up your chores. Clean out the old and make way for the new. Organize and take stock of your magik closet. Dust and clean your space to move out the negative energy and clutter and open up space for the new positive manifestation that’s coming your way.

It really is going to be ok.

A Divine star is shining over your basket today. Abundance is all around you, all you need do is open your eyes and see it. You don’t have to search for it, you don’t have to wait for its arrival. It’s already there. The question is, which kind of abundance do you place more value upon? The material kind, or the abundance of spirit, family and friends?

Additional Insight:

Because your Divine Self has the energy to create, you have the ability to create your day in a manner in which you desire. That in turn will create your week, your month, your year and your life. You can create happiness, success, and prosperity in Mind/Body/Spirit.

A quick note about prosperity. We’re not just talking about financial prosperity, although that is part of it. But more so, we’re talking about the prosperity of spiritual enlightenment, mental happiness, love, compassion and so on. In other words, the prosperity of all aspects of your life in both a spiritual and physical sense.

If you spend your day focusing on the lack of financial abundance and turn away from the abundance of spirit, love, compassion and health; you’ll miss out on the real blessings you have around you. Believe me, I know the hardships of an empty bank account. The worry of not being able to pay the mortgage or the electric bill when it’s cold and damp outside. I understand the lack of security associated with not being able to provide for your child, whither it be trying to get them to school, or give them a meal at night so they don’t go to bed hungry.

But even in those tough times when you think you’re at the end of your rope, remember that someone always has it worse than you do. Someone is being beaten on a daily basis. Someone is facing the dangers of living in a hostile area, worrying if their children will make it home from school. Someone in a far off land not only worries about finding food and water, but if today is the day a bomb hits what is left of their home and kills their entire family.

When we can focus on the abundance we do have, we attract more of that positive energy flow into our lives. The energy provided by our blessings can create abundance in the other areas of your life where you have lack or are struggling. Friends can help you through troubled times, hold your hand, give you an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on or even bring you a free spaghetti dinner for you and your family.

When you can give back to those friends and offer the same kindness and compassion, you expand the abundance in your life and in your day. You create opportunities for the Divine Universe to return your compassion to you in other ways, such as…financial abundance.

Sometimes giving to others, what it is you need most, is the best way to have your prayers answered and returned to you.

Take time to acknowledge the change in seasons. On this day of the vernal equinox, remember how much you’ve come through and how strong you’ve become. You’ve fought hard, you’ve won battles and you’re retaking control over your life and moving in the direction you desire. That deserves some recognition and celebration.

Additional Insight:

While you may have some healing to go through, you’ve already won the battles. Now is the time of remembrance and soothing your wounds. Rest and get back to your basics. Light a candle, hold a ritual or ceremony and honor the return of the light and warmth within your spirit.

Give yourself permission to heal and love the person you’ve become. You’ve worked hard to reinvent yourself. So acknowledge the new you and stand in balance on this special day of Ostara.

The earth stands perpendicular to the sun on this day. And the waxing moon reminds us this is a night for attraction, inner love, protection and healing energy for couples. What you want to attract to yourself and your path can be enhanced on this day.

Align yourself with the energy of the natural world around you. Celebrate your place in the Divine Universe by spending the day living in balance and harmony with all things seen and unseen and all around you.

The History Of Ostara – The ‘Spring Equinox’

The Vernal Equinox – The Festival of Ēostre

The Spring Equinox festival is based in Germanic Paganism. Ēostre or Ostara (Northumbrian Old English: Ēostre; West Saxon Old English: Ēastre; Old High German: *Ôstara) is a goddess in Germanic paganism who, by way of the Germanic month bears her name.

As a pagan holiday Ostara is one of the more confusing and convoluted festivals in terms of its history. It’s claimed by German neo-Pagans, Norse, Saxon and Celt. Celts admit that holiday is not one of their original observances and therefore it’s accepted to be part of a reconstruction of old Celtic ways.

There is speculation that this holiday owes its roots to the Romans who took their holiday into the invasion of Ireland and even spread into Germanic cultures. However, this does not play out when one reviews Celtic or Germanic mythology and history. Continue reading →
