Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Judgement

Major Arcana Judgement

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Sitting in judgement of others is a risky business. You have no idea what someone else is going through, even if they try to tell you their story. Remember there’s always three sides to any event. Your side, their side and the truth. It’s not a bad thing, but we all have our own perceptions based on past and present events in our own lives that can cloud our judgement. Today, stick to your own business and keep your head focused on your tasks. You’ll get through the day unscathed.

Additional Insight:

It’s a live and let live day. This is not the world according to you and you may not have all the facts needed to judge someone or a situation. Sticking your nose in or making assumptions can seriously backfire on your comments and actions. Stop, check your own emotions and ask yourself, why does this make me so angry or hurt?

Your own introspection can show you what past event is influencing your feelings and reactions. For today, it really is a case of “it’s me, not you”. So remember, what we don’t like in others, is merely an exaggerated perspective of what we don’t like about ourselves. If you don’t feel as though you’re being listened to, ask yourself, who am I not listening to? Continue reading

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Six of Cups

Six of Cups

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

You might be feeling tired today. You’ve put out a lot of energy of late on a lot of things and in a lot of different directions. Don’t forget to take some time to rest and re-energize your own batteries. Your world can really get by without your supervision for one day. So plan some time for yourself to relax. If not today than for this weekend. You need the rest.

Additional Insight:

Sometimes we need to take a step back and allow the seeds we’ve planted room to grow. Remember a watched pot takes a lot longer to boil, then if you walk away and give it time to simmer. The same is true for hovering over work that needs to get done.

At some point you have to give others the responsibility, the time and the room to complete their tasks. Today holds the lessons of delegation. If you’ve asked someone to do something, back off and let them do it. You lingering over them and constantly checking in will only slow the process down. Continue reading

Big News – The Daily Drawing Returns

A New View and Outlook

The Daily Tarot Meditation Drawing Returns November 1st, 2017

It’s been a long year of struggle, challenge and change. From health issues to moving to a new home in a new state, we’ve been on a roller coaster ride this year. I think things have finally settled down and improved on all fronts.

I believe the only constant in the Divine Universe is that things change. How you allow those events to impact you is totally up to you. You can fight them tooth and nail, and often make things worse. Or you can allow the Universe to push you where you need to be and guide the flow as best you can. We’ve been guided to the foothills of North Carolina and a healthier environment with a much better outlook for the future.

A Meditation Guide

Go Within And Learn

A How To Handbook

As a student of metaphysics and magik, I have been fortunate to teach, as well as learn from others about the many methods and modalities of Meditation.

The following is a Student Guide I hand out in my own Meditation Classes. Included in this guide is a short introduction to meditation methods and the benefits of a meditation routine. As well as, a step-by-step instruction manual for anyone to follow and to learn meditation on their own.

What is Meditation?
Prayer allows you to talk to the Divine and petition for assistance or honor the Divine force in your life. Meditation allows you to become one with the Divine and discover the divine within your own inner being.

Meditation has been practiced around the world in every known religion, from Paganism, Buddhism to Christianity and beyond. Many people have meditated for spiritual communication, personal fulfillment, as a form of worship or spiritual practice, and even just to relax and relieve the stress of life. Continue reading

Meditating With The Tarot

The Moon

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

The Tarot

They are called the messengers of the Divine. Some know them as the window to Universal Law and the sacred symbols of the higher consciousness. Whatever their auspicious synonym, the Tarot has been mentioned in ancient texts for 35,000 years. The Hermetic Kabbalah, tells of 108 stone tablets that lay beneath the ancient pyramids at Giza. 78 of these tablets are called the ‘Exoteric’ Tarot, the remaining 30 are the ‘Esoteric’ Tarot.

Even though there is evidence that the Tarot has existed for thousands of years, the first known decks come from 12th century India. They didn’t arrive in Europe until the time of the Crusades where they were often trophies of war held by European soldiers. It wasn’t long until the modern Europeans began creating their own versions of these religious decks, which were the forerunners to our modern playing cards.

It wasn’t until the 16th Century that the Tarot really began it’s invasion through the traveling Gypsy caravans and their use turned back to a spiritual perspective or as a tool for divination. Continue reading

Spring’s Tarot Meditation Drawing – On Hiatus

Wizards Tarot by John J. Blumen - The High Priestess

Wizards Tarot by John J. Blumen

Press Release
August 21, 2016

It’s with regret we announce the Daily Drawing will be on hiatus for the next 2 to 3 weeks due to a medical emergency that occurred on Thursday August 18th.

We apologize for the inconvenience for suspending the daily drawing, but we do have plenty to read and learn here on our Springwolf sites.  Spring’s Haven, Springwolf Reflections and Pagan’s Path.

We also want to send out our deepest gratitude to those who have already reached out to share prayers for healing and kind thoughts for Lady Spring’s recovery. She was doing well in the hospital yesterday and they felt she could return home to rest. Her Partner took her home last evening to care for her over the next few days. She has been ordered to take it easy and rest for the next few weeks.

We’ll certainly announce changes to our plan as they come. For now we appreciate the kindness, patience and healing prayers.

Thank you,
Many Blessings,
Patty, Center Administrator

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Five of Swords

Five of Swords

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Stand your ground and don’t be gullible!  While everything is coming up roses, there’s a snake in the midst trying to throw thorns in the garden. Watch out for the little gremlins who are attempting to divert your attention from the real issues at hand. What you’re being told may not be the whole truth. So remain focused and double-check the numbers. Someone will probably need to be held accountable for dropping the ball, after agreements have already been made. Don’t let them pin it on you.

Additional Insight:

It’s not a day to yell or show anger. But you will need to stand up and hold someone accountable for doing, or rather not doing, the task they were assigned. Don’t allow their coy attitude play on your sympathy. They know they messed up, but they’ve been falling short for a while now. No one can cover up the errors they’ve made any longer.

If you’re not the one who has the authority to let them go, you may need to summarize the situation to the person who is. After that, throw up your hands and know that you’ve done all you can. It’s out of your control after that. And there maybe more to this story than you know. Your report maybe only one of many, but the powers that be need to know about your experience with this person to round out the entire tale.

At the same time, make sure you’re completing the promises you’ve made. In some situations everything depends on you. No one can move forward without you. That’s a dangerous position to be in at times. So don’t waste time on gossip, or provoke a new battle front. Stick with what you know, and stay on point. The work you’ve already put into a project has been stellar and noticed. You’ve got a good future here, so keep on point and be honest with those making the ultimate decisions.

Stay calm and focused to win friends and influence the right people. By the end of the day, the problems will be resolved and taken care of in your favor. You’ll get the pat on the back and your reputation will escalate to high regard. A necessary step that gets you closer to your goal. You’re doing good. Keep it up and keep the faith in yourself to achieve and succeed. You’re closer to the end than you think!

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Two of Swords

Four of Swords

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Be watchful today and don’t allow your frustrations to blow up simply because you’re tired from the lack of sleep. The constant fighting can be exhausting, especially when you’re fighting a battle that isn’t even a skirmish. You made your bed and yes on some fronts you have to lay in it. But not all situations are alike. There are some things worth fighting for, but there are others where you need to carefully choose your battles. Be calm and make sure you’re thinking through each conflict and fight the ones you know you can win. Leave the others for another day.

Additional Insight:

When you’re exhausted, you’re not thinking clearly. So don’t make assumptions concerning planned events, such as meetings, appointments or anything that isn’t a face to face conversation. Your tired grumpy attitude could cause you to feel trouble when there’s no conflict in the first place. If it’s not your job to take care of it, then don’t take responsibility for it. And don’t fight that war if it’s not your place to do so.

It’s easy to think you’re the center of the Universe, and it might be a shock, but it’s not all about you! Stop feeling as though you’re the target here. You’re only a small piece of the puzzle that has someone upset and frustrated. And they’re not the center of the Universe either. So don’t pick a fight with someone who feels their back is against the wall. If they have no escape, they might fight even harder to put a target on someone’s back to save their own behind.

The person with the cool head who can calmly and precisely give the facts without emotion will control the day. The one who keeps their composure and presents the facts and only the facts will quietly rise up and direct the course of action. Be the one who can step up and lead. When you have both the authority and cool mind to precisely describe the conflict without emotion, your position takes gains influence. Come at the situation from a calm strength of character, not from excessive passion, yelling or intimidation. No one likes to be yelled at with an authoritative voice, that sounds like it’s accusing others of wrong doing.

At the same time, don’t be the one who sits back and gets yelled at because you’re perceived as weak and vulnerable. You can maintain a confident tranquil response and still be forceful if threatened. “You don’t want to go there and start placing blame for mistakes made by others.” can be a very effective way to push back without threatening the other side into raising their swords. Battles are won from a place of logic and intelligence, not blind brute force. Anger removes the ability to think through a conflict. So remain level headed and you’ll be able to think your way through the argument without damage to your own position.

To solve a problem you must focus on the situation, not the blame. That’s only a diversion and it doesn’t solve the issue. It wastes time, which wastes more money. Keep the focus on what the actual issue is and how it must be resolved. If there must be some accountability, take that outside and keep it within the family. Don’t air dirty laundry in public. It’s a sure fire way of losing respect and any influence you may have had in the long run.

If you can keep your emotion in check, you’ll have a better chance to remain calm and stick to the issues. You’ll end the day with a stronger reputation for being the perfect person to get the job done and guiding the way in the future. You’ll take some of the self imposed stress off your shoulders and release the anxiety that’s been keeping you awake. Then give yourself a break and get a good nights sleep. Things will look much better and brighter tomorrow.

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: The World – Inverted

The World - Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Bring your energy back to the here and now. Get grounded and pay attention to what is in front of you. Don’t just listen, but actually hear what’s being said to you. It’s good to dream and reach for the ultimate wishes. But at some point you must get your head out of the clouds into reality. You’re not alone in this. Stop allowing your mind to create more confusion and imbalance, because you know it’s not only about you. Let the one who shares your burden add their two cents without judgement. Simply listen and allow others to feel like they’re being heard.

Additional Insight:

You become what you think. So think the best and allow your creative energy to build bridges to turn things around for the better.  The more you focus on the negative, no matter what the topic, the more you feed the cynical world. And the more you’re allowing that pessimistic attitude and judgement to fester and gain power. Is everything in the world perfect? Of course not, because we can’t change the world when we’re adding to the anger and negativity.

Is your world perfect? No not when you keep viewing the same struggle, frustration and worry as if you alone are supposed to fix it. You’re in this together. No one is carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders. But you’re not going to fix anything if your too busy defending yourself or feeling the need to be in control of everything. Communication is the path to compromise. How can you locate the middle ground and support each other if you never take interest in the other side’s perspectives.

No one can walk into a situation with rose-colored glasses and expect to turn all the worries and anxieties around.  Just like all things in life, this isn’t the world according to you. How “it should be” isn’t going to fit everyone’s concept. What you think should be happening isn’t going to work for others who have an equal moral perspective that treads a different path. Stop the judgements and expectations. Walk to the middle of the road and stand in the reality of now. No solution is going to be perfect for everyone. And everyone has to give a little to get a little. Even you.

Be the example of holding your tongue; if you can’t say something nice than don’t say it. When you feel frustrated, annoyed or down right angry over what someone said remember the old adage “Sticks and stones can hurt me, but words never will.

Yes words can hurt, but only if you choose to let them in. Ideas can be dangerous, but only if you respond to them giving them more power to influence and manipulate by feeding the negative energy with your own angry emotions in response. Don’t be part of the problem that continues to attack. Change your response by offering an alternative solution. By sharing a more positive position and working to compromise. Focus on the alternative path that cancels out the suspicions being generated by the fear mongers in your head or in reality.

If you want things to be better, than you must do better. Do more listening than arguing. If you want to be heard, than listen to  someone who needs to talk. You’re not the only one who feels scared, upset, insecure or who feels they’ve lost control over everything going on in their life. Become what you need and meet in the middle with compassion and love.  It’s a great day to remember “Walking Your Talk”© is paramount to incorporating your desire for healing and compassion into your every day life.  Practice what you preach and provide a moment that feeds the optimistic energy and pulls everyone back together to turn everything around for the better.

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Death

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

The hardship, stress, and struggle have come to an end. Now it’s time for the transition to begin in earnest. This is not something to regret letting go of or fear moving on to. But rather it’s an event that you’ve long-awaited and will push you forward in leaps and bounds to where you really want to be. Even if it’s in a different way than you imagined. So release the weight on your shoulders to spread your wings and lighten the load. Allow yourself to rise up and see the blessings in your world from a higher perspective. You’ll discover it’s not about this wall defines my place and that side of the wall defines yours. But rather we’re all part of the whole world and we’re in this together.

Additional Insight:

What you may have thought of as a failure will actually bring you to the field of victory. In doing so you’ll remove the chains that hold you back and open the door that allows you to escape the gloom and finally get the clean break from the past you’ve been hoping to achieve. Dry your eyes and remember those things that come to an end aren’t the things you need in the here and now of your life.

Let go of the past and get rid of the bad memories. They have no place in finding the real you beneath the tears and sorrows. That’s not who you are any longer. You’ve fought, endured and no one has come out the other side stronger or more wise than you have.  You’ll be able to use that to your advantage and it will benefit you in unexpected and unique ways. You’ll see, once everything is settled and the dust has died down.

None of the emotions of anger, or jealousy from others will deter your ability to complete the complicated journey. It’s not your fault or concern that others are feeling as if your presence is invading what they feel is their domain. The selfishness they’re holding onto has been threatened and is crumbling because of their choices. All the arrogance they’ve been putting out through their gossip, negative talk, and even some deliberate actions on their part is finally coming back to them now. Instead of taking responsibility, they’re using you as the scapegoat for their pain. Oh well, it’s not your job to pick up their baggage and carry it for them. So what ever you do, don’t justify their delusions and take the blame!

The only thing you need to do, is stick to your plan and work on the details you’ve tried to refine and put in to the works. Don’t get distracted. Don’t be dragged off course. The only constant in the Universe is change. If you keep fighting against the flow to keep things as they are, the current will get stronger until you force the river to flood your boat and push you along the hard way. Don’t try to go off course, you could lose everything and make the journey much worse than it needs to be.

Relax. Welcome the push along your path to get to where you need to be. When you arrive, you’ll be glad you made the trek and let go of the old. The new is SO much better than you thought it would be. You’ll feel renewed, discover a new inspiration that rises you up to new goals and opportunities that will help you fulfill those. After this weekend, it will be a brand new day that will be filled with blessings, liberty and relief. Let go and move on so you can finally find your freedom and immense joys!

A Little Numerological Insight:
Upon publishing today’s card, I noticed this is the 10th time the Death card has appeared in a daily drawing. And that got my attention.

If you’ve seen my number insights before you know that Mathematics is the only language shared by all humans regardless of culture, religion, or gender. Numerology is the study of the divine or mystical relationship between a count or measurement and life. It has many systems and traditions and beliefs. My practice of numerology is Shamanistic Numerology that’s based on Celtic and North American Shamanistic teachings. It’s not the only method, the best method or the true method. It’s simply one of many methods and one that resonates most with me and my personal perspectives of the Divine and the world we live in.

The analysis of today’s number 10 shares some insight to the message that seems worth looking at. A quick review; Prime numbers are those numbers that are specific to you, your birthday, social security or other numbers that will stick with you throughout your lifetime. Sub-Prime numbers are numbers that change over time. Your phone number, an employee number, drivers license number and other things like that. A number like this one that caught my attention falls into the category of Sub-Prime, because it only comes around once and quickly changes the next day or next drawing.

Actual Derived Calculated
10 1+0 1

  • This number is associated with the Sun.

  • This number is associated with the Snake.
  • It represents the physical world and masculine energy.
  • Positive direction: When the ‘1’ enters your life it represents confidence, self respect and empowerment. It denotes new projects or situations that are present. Consider the physical implications or impacts and how they will direct the path forward. What new conditions will be created, what old situations will need to be released.
  • Negative Direction: In reverse 1 indicates loneliness, feeling lost, self-doubt, poor self-confidence and illness. It shows the path of stagnation and a refusal to break old patterns that have proven to be detrimental.
