The wheel spins in your favor this weekend. But watch out for those weeds of doubt. They can easily interfere with your movement forward. Be careful that you don’t play the role of victim and attempt to justify your emotions or actions from a hurtful perspective. Stay in control, don’t allow others to push your buttons, look at situations from the view of spirit and what they are trying to teach you. If you can keep this view; your wheel will continue to spin freely.

Additional Insight:

Playing the victim doesn’t serve any purpose except to manipulate the emotions of others. It’s a poor attempt to be the center of attention and create drama where there isn’t really any purpose or cause. If you want to attract positive energies, you must change your ways and stop acting as if you’re weak, manipulated or unjustly put upon. Stop allowing your fears of doubt impact your actions and create a negative shield around you.

You are strong, capable and in control of your own journey. Take charge and allow your wheel of fortune to spin freely and manifest the positive energies and hard work you’ve put forth. Clear your energies, from within and around your home/work/car. Set positive shields that will help you see situations clearly, with confidence and security. You are in control of your destiny! Shouldn’t you be the one deciding which direction it will lead you?

Course you may want to buy a lottery ticket this weekend too. =D

We each have our own brand of love. Most are open to giving love to family, children and partners. But we constantly forget to love ourselves. We overlook our good qualities and see the reflections of our failings or faults. Don’t simply accept others for who and what they are. Turn that same compassion and caring inward and accept yourself as well. Love your own self worth and others will see you are worth loving.

Additional Insight:

Stop the self criticism. Stop replaying the nasty hurtful statements others have said in anger or ignorance in your head. You are the perfect creation of the Divine Spirit incarnate. See your loving traits and allow them to heal and replace the negative recordings that hold you back and keep you from moving forward and achieving your dreams. You’re beautiful; inside and out!

Celebrating the Summer Solstice

The Summer Solstice is a pre-Christian holiday and has been celebrated throughout Europe and many parts of the world for eons. The solstice itself has remained a special moment of the annual cycle of the year since Neolithic times.

In Anglo-Saxon form, the holiday is known as Litha. A Germanic word for June and meaning mid-summer. In Irish form Meitheam. (From Old Irish mithem (“midsummer, June”), from Proto-Celtic *medjo-samīno- (compare Welsh Mehefin)).

Today Solstice celebrations center around the astronomical timing of the summer solstice. But many pagans still hold to traditional lunar calendar celebrations holding the rite at sunset on June 20th, the 21st or June 24, the day of the solstice in Roman times.

Like most pagan holidays, the early Christian Church assimilated the holiday into their calendar and original Celtic celebrations slowly faded. The “new” holiday is associated with the nativity of John the Baptist, which is observed on, June 24. Knowing that pagans followed a lunar calendar and began their celebrations at sunset on the eve before the Gregorian calendar date, the early church established St John’s Eve on the evening of June 23. Be cautious of those telling little lies around you. It’s an important day to shield your energies, and your back pocket. Trust your intuition and control your own future. It’s hard being the leader who governs his domain. But remember, you asked for this and you will succeed. But as the Emperor you must remain vigilant and remain aware of the little games being played that can disrupt your plans.

Additional Insight:

Don’t be afraid to confront your suspicions. You may find those little lies to be transparent, but attempts by others to save your feelings from what otherwise are harmless activities.

Those are trying to pull the wool over your eyes for their own greed or ego, will deny their deceit. But they will also give up their attempts to device you and spend the rest of the week wondering how you found out.

You’re the one in control today. Be upfront and confident in expressing your insight and views. You can turn the day into a win/win in your favor!

When you shine, others take notice. Make sure what they notice is the positive example. Don’t merely talk about living and thinking positively and not put those words into practice. Walk the talk and practice what you preach to others. You will bring the success you seek into your world; and be the shining example to others that you can make it with the right attitude.

Additional Insight:

Remember the children watch and emulate your actions and reactions. When you put your spiritual beliefs into practice, you are teaching them how to live with ethics and integrity. These are the characteristics you will show to the world around you as well.

Those who preach to others but do not put those lessons into practice on their own path, live in hypocrisy. You cannot preach about peace, love and compassion and then withhold those activities from a select group of people simply because you don’t like what they look like, or the way they have chosen to live their lives.

Be the shinning example of your positive and inspirational words and you will find success in all the things you do.

Don’t let others tie your mouth shut. You have just as much right to share your views and opinions as they do. But remember, your view is only one of many. If you want to be respected for your thoughts; you need to allow others to speak their minds and respect their views in return. There’s room for all perspectives.

Additional Insight:

Expressing your own creativity and communicating your own thoughts is an important part of who you are. Don’t allow others to cause you to become angry and cut yourself off from the world or those around you. There are many who are interested in what you have to offer and would enjoy a conversation with you.

Maintain control of your emotions, don’t let hurt feelings dictate the control others have over you and walk your talk as an example of who you are. When you share your views and talent with calm love and compassion; the one who looks like a fool are those who want to keep you quiet and put you down. Win the game by protecting your ego and being who you really are. Walk Your Talk!
