So you have much more to gain by being diligent and staying on your toes. The task might be new to you, or it might be a long learned skill you’ve developed through experience. You know what to look for and what could be amiss. Take the initiative and get it done.

Look out over the valley and fields to double-check your work, numbers and math. Once you know you’re in the clear, look over the bigger picture and give the work of others a run through. Blessings of abundance can come from the most unexpected places. Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth, but make sure the gift doesn’t come with strings attached. You could be getting into something you really don’t want today.  Remember the grass is always greener on the other side. But that could mean it’s because a great deal more work goes into keeping it that way.

While gifts can come at just the right time, they can also come with consequences you’re not prepared for. Don’t let your desperation get in the way of clear thinking and contemplation over the outcome of saying yes. Is this really what you want?! Make sure what you’re asking for is in your best interest and those close to you.

The last thing you want to do is trade one blessing for another. Especially if you’re unsure of the new offering. You could be losing something that’s much more valuable to you than all the gold in the world. Losing that might be the worst decision you’ve ever made, because once it’s gone, you can’t get it back. It’s been a long time coming, but you have finally grasped the concept of living your life according to your values and beliefs. Not everyone is going to like you or respect you. And that’s ok! They don’t have to. You don’t need to brag about your accomplishments. Be the example of maturity, knowledge, humility and wisdom. Those who need to make the decisions will watch your words and actions, and that will go a long way to winning them over today in business, relationships and life.

This weekend and through Monday, it’s all about your own independence to break the chains and free yourself from all that which holds you back from achieving your goals and dreams. It’s time to close the chapter on the old and begin writing the new.

Additional Insight:

Typically when I pull a card the first thing I notice in the image gives me insight into the message for the day. Today what I noticed immediately was the saturation of Orange in the card. I follow a particular Color Correspondence system that defines this color as:
Orange: (Combine Red and Yellow)
Confidence, ambition, pride.
A vibrant Orange: Indicates ambition, pride, self-sufficiency.
