Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Ace of Wands – Inverted

Ace of Wands - Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Grab hold of your pride and take flight. Your strength and determination will either free you from the fungus holding you back, or help you pull those you care about up and into the light of  self-sufficiency. This weekend and through Monday, it’s all about your own independence to break the chains and free yourself from all that which holds you back from achieving your goals and dreams. It’s time to close the chapter on the old and begin writing the new.

Additional Insight:

Typically when I pull a card the first thing I notice in the image gives me insight into the message for the day. Today what I noticed immediately was the saturation of Orange in the card. I follow a particular Color Correspondence system that defines this color as:
Orange: (Combine Red and Yellow)
Confidence, ambition, pride.
A vibrant Orange: Indicates ambition, pride, self-sufficiency.
A dull Orange: A lack of warmth, but a strong desire for success and popularity.

You have continually made excuses for why you can’t move forward and why you don’t want to let go of what’s behind you. But much of that is made out of fear and worry. You’re putting problems into the equation that have varying solutions and you already know what they are and what needs to be done. Stop making the mole hills into mountains that seem impossible to climb. There maybe a few hills you can’t take care of alone. But there are people here to help you. All you have to do is ask.

Don’t ignore the responsibility or shirk the duties you need to get started or completed. Stick to your self-imposed deadline to have everything resolved before the fall. You know how long you have to get things settled before the end of summer. You don’t have much longer to get started. At the very least make your calls for help and arrange schedules so everyone has time to pitch in. Ask someone else to help you do the heavy lifting and you take point on managing the tasks and guiding the direction for what needs to be done now to maximize the assistance while you have it.

Then take on the projects one at a time.  Before you know it, those little issues will be resolved and done in just a few days. Probably even less. Then you’ll be able to clear out the remaining clutter, repair the small items that need attention and rake in the profits from all the hard work. This is your time to clean house and make room for the new more positive energy to come into your life. Let go of the fear of change and make room for the excitement of the new. You’ve been waiting long enough for your dreams to come true.

Numerological Insight:
This is the 8th time, this card has been pulled since I began sharing the Daily Meditation Insights. For some reason that caught my attention. If you’ve seen my number insights before you know that Mathematics is the only language shared by all humans regardless of culture, religion, or gender.

Numerology is the study of the divine or mystical relationship between a count or measurement and life. It has many systems and traditions and beliefs. My practice of numerology is Shamanistic Numerology that’s based on Celtic and North American Shamanistic teachings. It’s not the only method, the best method or the true method. It’s simply one of many methods and one that resonates most with me and my personal perspectives of the Divine and the world we live in.

A quick review; Prime numbers are those numbers that are specific to you, your birthday, social security or other numbers that will stick with you throughout your lifetime. Sub-Prime numbers are numbers associated with you that change over time. Your phone number, an employee number, drivers license number and other things like that.  A date and random number occurrences also fall into the category of Sub-Prime, because they only comes around once in a while and quickly change.

Eight – The number of infinity, the infinite possibilities, breaking barriers, always moving.

  • This number is associated with Pluto.
  • This number is associated with the Hawthorne Tree.
  • This number is associated with the Deer.
  • It represents our ability to strive for things, be they personal, family, professional.
  • Positive Direction: When 8 is in your life it can represent a time to strive on, use innovation to overcome challenges. Endurance is a big thing with the number 8, as that effort to continue can bring great success in physical matters of profession, abundance and finance.
  • Negative Direction: In reverse 8 can indicate stagnation, constantly digging a hole that’s hard to get out of. Refusal to see how patterns create dis-ease and strife. Always giving up because there’s too much in the way.

Well, I think the number 8 is suggesting we listen to today’s message and act on our innovation to make the changes we know need to take place. Beginning today on the first day July through the weekend and Monday.

Speaking of Monday, there will be no drawing that day. Here in the States it’s our Independence day celebration. And since the 4th of July is my favorite holiday, I’m going to be enjoying the day!
