Don’t let your desire for the lime light out do the wisdom you have learned. There’s no need for you to constantly promote your knowledge or skills. Simply walk your talk and speak your truth. Others who feel the need to continually boost their titles and abilities are only looking for outside approval and demanding respect without earning it. Remain humble today and you’ll walk away with the well deserved accolades based on your wisdom alone.

It’s been a long time coming, but you have finally grasped the concept of living your life according to your values and beliefs. Not everyone is going to like you or respect you. And that’s ok! They don’t have to. You don’t need to brag about your accomplishments. Be the example of maturity, knowledge, humility and wisdom. Those who need to make the decisions will watch your words and actions, and that will go a long way to winning them over today in business, relationships and life.

Some may need to take the final step and cross the bridge into humility and letting go of the need to prove yourself to others. You know who you are and what you know. You know you still have things to learn. You don’t need to be told that. But learning doesn’t make you less an “expert”. It makes you an empowered human who is open to new ideas and concepts without feeling threatened or blaming others who don’t agree with your position. Their notions do not discount your beliefs, unless you allow them too.

That doesn’t mean you graduate into the perspective of arrogance. It means having a healthy ego and realizing the only person who needs to approve of you, is you. That’s confidence. Shrugging your shoulders when someone feels they need to put you down so they seem more important or knowledgeable is where your strength will come from. They don’t have to agree with you or even respect your view. They’re where they are and they have their own lessons to learn. You’re where you are and you may not be the one who will teach them or even open the door for them. There’s no purpose in winning an argument like this. Those who feel the need to belittle your perspective as part of their “argument” only want the attention and to feel as though they are in control. Smile at them and remind them there are many perspectives and none are more or less right or correct than any other.

Closed minds don’t care if they’re closed or misguided or misinformed. All they care about is making others agree with their side so they don’t feel attacked. It’s unlikely they’ll change your mind. But it’s also unlikely you’ll change theirs either. Rise above and let them show how lost they are in their talk. They try to give a good speech, but their words will undo the argument they’re trying to push forward. In their contradiction, their position from this to that, their illogical position will be exposed and their arrogance will betray them.

Don’t fall into that trap or be baited into a fight or argument today. You’re the Sun in your world. You shine your wisdom when needed most and share your knowledge so others can think for themselves and learn how to empower their own thinking. And then they might discover you’re all much more alike than you are different. You’re simply coming to the same point from different paths and journeys that take you through different experiences that get there to that shared respect and appreciation for each other. Walk your own talk and you’ll be safe throughout the day.

A Little Numerological Insight:
This is the 1,631st post here on Reflections and that number caught my attention.

If you’ve seen my number insights before you know that Mathematics is the only language shared by all humans regardless of culture, religion, or gender. Numerology is the study of the divine or mystical relationship between a count or measurement and life. It has many systems and traditions and beliefs. My practice of numerology is Shamanistic Numerology that’s based on Celtic and North American Shamanistic teachings. It’s not the only method, the best method or the true method. It’s simply one of many methods and one that resonates most with me and my personal perspectives of the Divine and the world we live in.

2 / Two – The number of love, union or partnership, intimacy and feelings, being balanced.

This number is associated with the Moon.
This number is associated with the Elder Tree.
This number is associated with the Elk.
It represents the emotional world and feminine energy.
Positive Direction: When 2 is present, it can denote trust, companionship, and unity. People with this number as their spiritual number are sensitive and compassionate. They make great holistic healers.
Negative Direction: In reverse 2 can represent selfishness, jealousy, bigotry or lack of acceptance of others. Having feelings of being cut off from others or being segregated in life.

Both directions of Two (2) seem to be in play for today’s message. You can be the positive aspect by rising above and being confident in your own abilities and knowledge. You don’t need to defend your views or prove something today.

Allow others to walk in the opposite direction, for their actions are based on selfishness and jealousy. They’re walking with fear, even if they don’t realize that’s what they’re doing.
