Simply because things seem to be upside down right now, doesn’t mean you’re going to lose everything. Stop worrying so much about what’s in your coffers and focus on the partnerships you have been blessed with. There’s much more to gain, then there is to lose.  And today it all depends on your perspective and what you’re willing to see.

Here in the northern hemisphere spring is the time for growth and expansion. In the southern hemisphere fall is the time to take stock and get prepared. You don’t have to take a chance or throw caution to the wind to get what you need. You simply need to focus on your plans and move forward with determination. All that negative talk you’ve been listening to this week is pulling you down. Turn off those recordings and ignore the nay-sayers.

You’ve worked hard to turn things around and you’ve succeeded. So why are you falling back on old patterns of distress? Yes there’s still some healing to go through, but it’s nothing like the mountain you climbed and traversed already. You crossed that great divide and you survived. Don’t pine away for the things that didn’t work out the way you wanted. They weren’t meant to be in your life anyway. There’s something better waiting for you and it’s not that far away. Take time re-adjust your thinking and look at the blessings you do have. All while being patient for the really good things to come your way.

What you “wanted” may not be what you “needed”. Sometimes we have to be pushed down the road to get where we need to be for our better interests and desires. Don’t settle for 2nd best or even 3rd. There’s a reason things didn’t work out, even if you don’t see what they are right now. Someone is watching out for you, even if you don’t know they are there.

You’ve been praying and lighting candles in an effort to manifest what you want. That’s great, don’t give it up. But you may not always see clearly when things cross your path. You could be allowing fear to push you into settling for something because you’re worried the real request will never be met. Stop that negative thinking. Hold on and you’ll not only get through the ups and downs, but you’ll have some fun doing it. It’s another day to keep your focus and look at the situations with calm mindfulness.

You’ll be able to see what’s really going on and that will help keep your emotions in check. Others will be in dismay at your calm response, because they are expecting you to blow a gasket and allow anger to take over. Don’t give them the satisfaction of falling into their box. They are counting on you to lose control and prove their point to others. Remain calm and you’ll win another battle.

No one else can define who or what you are, unless you allow them to. So don’t take on their labels, or get upset about their pathetic insults. They don’t matter, because you know they’re not true. You make the choice about what kind of person you’re going to be. Own it! Be responsible for it and be willing to go against the negative expectations others have tried to lay on your shoulders. That’s their baggage, not yours. So don’t pick it up and you won’t have to carry it for them.

As others go through the day with angst and bravado, try not to get caught up in their drama. Let them vent and run off half cocked. It’s not your place to sit them down and have a heart to heart about their actions and what lessons they’re being presented with at this time.

Contemplate what you need to do to create a successful day. Perhaps your focus is needed on a special project. Or maybe you have the answer to a problem within your creative center. In the Chakra Color System I follow, yellow is the color for Success, creativeness, jealousy, selfishness. A vibrant Yellow like we see here with the Faery of Temperance is a clear yellow sharing intelligence, wisdom, and success. And it doesn’t matter that the card is inverted. That success is still present.

When you try to force things down the path, you end up getting stuck in the potholes and struggles. What you “want” may not be what you need, so the Divine in your life is trying real hard to keep you from making mistakes.
