Sometimes showing compassion without words is the greatest gift of support you can give; or receive. Love plays a big part in all our lives and in every aspect. Love of self, of a partner, of what you do, all permeates your life and can lift you out of hardship and agony. It creates a life that’s fruitful and abundant, allowing what you need to enter and fill the void of lack.
Love is the greatest energy in the Divine Universe. But it is often viewed only in partnerships. Love for your children, your parents, your partner, between family, even for your animal family are all important partnerships. But too often we forget about the love of self, both in the spiritual and physical perspectives.
Love is a force that does not judge harshly. It’s given with respect and held in that view through all things and all interactions. Too often we give it without condition to others, but we don’t give it to ourselves with the same regard. When we should be giving it to self more readily than to anyone else. We often make excuses for the actions of others, even when their actions are destructive toward us. This fear talking, allowing ourselves to be treated without consideration and kindness in order to maintain a partnership we know isn’t healthy or good for us. Continue reading
