Words of Wisdom, Thought and Inspiration

DotingTea2A Few Gems To Share

Recently we have discovered a lot of search requests here on the blog for quotes and sayings. We really don’t have a place to list all the little gems of wisdom that Spring has shared throughout the years. And the increase in this search request got us thinking. Maybe we should have a place for the ones we like the most.

Everyone here at Spring’s Haven and Spring herself, want to say thank you for the inspiration to build this section of the blog. We’re ever so humbled and thankful that some of you have wanted to find more sparkles of wisdom to inspire or share with your family or friends.

So we’ve added a page to the About section of Springwolf Reflections. Come check out what we’ve found lying around here and there. We’ll be adding to the list from time to time as we find a new gems and old.

Self sacrifice doesn’t mean wallowing in self-pity and living in the past so that someone else feels good about who they are. It doesn’t mean constant struggle against things you know can be changed and overcome. It doesn’t mean fighting against the cycle of hardship to remain in that continual downward spiral, just so someone else feels safe and secure in their own fear and stagnation.

Your sacrifice might allow someone you care about to feel justified to continue walking the path of their same old negative patterns. Constantly fighting against the world, you and themselves. But you’re not doing yourself any favors by ignoring everything you’ve been working to change, so they can keep you anchored in your own negative actions and mired in all the fears you’ve worked so hard to let go of and overcome.
