Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Knave of Cups – Inverted

Knave of Cups - Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Get your tail moving and fan the wind of change. You’re the only one who can cast away the gloom and doom. If you want sunny skies, than allow your self to be the light that shines for others. Dread and anxiety will only keep you in the dark and things are not as bad as you think they are. So smile, it’s not only good for you; it’s contagious too.

Additional Insight:

Those around you key their emotions for the day, from you. If you’re stressed and filled with anxiety, you will create that environment around you and infect everyone who crosses your path. Don’t be the dreaded virus that everyone wants to stay away from.

Instead, look around you and find the beautiful things that no one else notices. And share their beauty like a beacon of uplifting light. Even the cloudy skies have elements of beauty in the way they move, or the way they shadow your eyes from the blaring sun. Ever drive in the morning due east when the sun rise blinds you from seeing the road? Even the clouds can have their benefits.

But like all things, the world changes and moves on. You can allow the clouds of despair to hold you back, fighting the flow of change to a better day. Or you can trick yourself into a smile and share the hope and joy with those who cross your path.  You may even trick yourself into a good mood.

Those “Good vibrations” (even if you’re only pretending) help you to re-energize, keep you going with hope and feed the creative ideas that swirl round within you. Let them shine today and you’ll be so surprise at how easy things will go for you. It’s a new day of the rest of your life. Take it on with excitement and confidence that you’re moving forward! Be the cure for the blues that everyone wants to have around.

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Queen of Wands – Inverted

Queen Of Wands - Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Creativity and magik are being replaced by worry and anxiety. Don’t abandon everything you believe in simply because the struggles are hard. Sometimes things are tough because you’re fighting the inevitable. It’s looking at what you want, but not seeing what you need. It’s time to change the view and focus on what you can change, and let go of what you can’t.

Additional Insight:

Sometimes we go so ingrained in the battle that we can’t see the bigger picture behind the war. It’s easy for those who try to take the 5,000 foot view and tell you not to worry or don’t let it all get to you. But down on the ground in the details of it all, it’s not that easy to do.

The solution is to remember that you’re not facing the battle alone. Even if you can’t see the support that’s behind you, it’s there. Maybe in the physical, maybe in spirit; but it is there. Don’t forget to connect to the Divine presence in your life. Allowing that connection to be ever present can help you see the details that need attention, but it can also raise your perceptions over the clouds to understand the bigger picture.

Giving up and throwing it all away isn’t the answer to getting to the other side. Being angry and asking “why” won’t allow you to hear the answers you need.

It’s hard to center your energies in the midst of turmoil. It may even be the last thing you want to do. But taking the time to expel the negative energies from within, allows you to be filled with Divine insight, protection and strength to cross the chasm of despair.

You’re not alone and you don’t have to face the road ahead by yourself. For today, put the worries in the hands of the Divine presence in your life and try to find the magik of creation and innovation within you again.

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Four of Pentacles – Inverted

Four of Pentacles - Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

It may seem like you’re gathering one fruit for your basket as someone else is taking it out. It’s hard to get ahead right now, but you’re not looking at the bigger picture. Things aren’t falling out of your basket now. Instead, they’re moving up and coming back. It may not seem like it today, but things are changing for the better under the scene. Don’t give up yet!

Additional Insight:

Sometimes we get so far down in the hole that we first have to climb back to the surface in order for things to start climbing up to the tree tops and beyond. In the past, it was a constant two steps forwards and three steps back. But look at things today and you’ll notice the slight difference around you.

Now is not the time to give up and start packing it in. You fought the good fight and you’re almost back to the surface. Yes there’s still a long road to haul, but if you made a plan and you’ve stuck to it; you’re going to see it manifest. All you need to do is stay focused and walk the path through the valley.

The mountain top isn’t as far away now as it was. One step at a time and you’ll reach the base of the mountain and begin your climb to success. Give yourself some encouragement and look back at where you were and how far you’ve come. Don’t give up now that you’re so close to putting everything in place and seeing your plans blossom in the spring. Look forward to April; it’s going to be a really good month.

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Five of Swords

Five of Swords

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Don’t allow the anxiety and stress to turn you into a weeping two faced flower. It’s ok to say “I don’t know”. It’s not something to be ashamed of. It takes a great deal of courage to ask for help and humility to admit you don’t know everything. Be cautious of those who show you one thing to your face in order to gain your compassion. They maybe stabbing you in the back, as soon as you turn around.

Additional Insight:

In today’s society emphasis is given to those who stand on their own and fight the tough battles. But no one stands alone, no matter how much they profess their accomplishment. They may have worked hard and prepared for opportunities when they arose; but some where along the line someone gave them a break or made the choice to recognize their ability.

Those who believe they’ve made it through on their own can sometimes feel entitled and look down upon those who need help at this moment in time. They can show the inner two faced nature they hold within and in doing so, undermine your efforts to fight the good fight.

Swords represent strength when viewed through the positive, but it can also be strife when expressed through the negative. This is also the lesson given to us through Humility and Confidence. Today the lessons of strength are being put to the test against the lessons of strife brought through over confidence.

Be cautious of those who hold out compassion with strings attached. Be wary that you’re not the one looking down with a confident air upon those who are facing hard times. By the grace of the Divine Universe; the struggles they face maybe yours one day. It is through humility that we offer compassion and concern. Through the eyes of oneness.

When we remember that we’re in this world together as a community, we can over come any hardship, any disagreement and any prejudiced. We can discover compassion between us and stand on the common ground we share instead of the competing hill tops. We are all connected and inter-connected to each other, the world around us and the through the Divine Universe. No matter what our differences, we are the same – simple human beings trying to make our way in the world.

Humility & Confidence – What Ego Can Teach You
The Dalai Lama on Piers Morgan Tonight April 25, 2012:
“I describe myself as a simple Buddhist monk. No more, no less. And I am one of the seven billion human being. Basically we are the same… your emotion, my emotion, your mind, my mind.., same physical. So I always look [at it] that way. We are the same.”

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Ace of Wands

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Be a beacon that lights the way and you will attract the passion of others to join your cause. There is strength in numbers, but someone must stand out front and lead the way. Though it may feel lonely and sometimes it can be scary when you feel there’s no one else to lean on; remember you are never alone.

Additional Insight:

Being a Manager is NOT a popularity contest – it is a Responsibility.
Steve Letart: Nascar Crew Chief

Leading the way, whither it’s for your family, a club, an organization or a company; has both advantages and disadvantages. You are out front and reap all the benefits before anyone else. But few see all the stress, worry and hard work that goes into walking the path upfront.

It doesn’t matter if you’re the Mom, Dad, or the Boss; you can’t be friends with everyone and manage by vote and consensus. Someone has to make the decisions and take the lead so everyone can work together for the benefit of all.

How you think about your position will determine what obstacles and rewards cross your path. If you continually worry and stress out over the little things, you will attract more of the same. Each time the obstacles will get bigger and bigger until you really are overwhelmed and create a self-defeated prophecy.

But if you can remember that you’re never alone and you rise up each morning with a connection to the Divine source in your life, you can face any obstacle with innovation, creativity and success. You are part of the greater Divine Creation after all.  The electricity of your passion will energize those around you. It can uplift both people and environment. It can take you to the next level and set up the ladder to the next level beyond that. Do you want to climb a rope? Or would you rather walk up a few short steps? The choice is up to you.

So why not tap into that energy and channel it through your heart, mind and soul to adapt, overcome and succeed. Stop fighting your role, and start accepting the beacon of light to lead the way to success.

Don’t forget your 5-minute Alignment Meditation to connect to the Divine in your life. And begin, or continue, creating the world you want to be in with positive direction and success.

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Seven of Wands – Inverted

7 Of Wands: Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Compassion eases the beast of anger and negativity. You can react to those who are angry and frustrated by sharing their emotions; or you can ease their pain by showing compassion. If you join in their suffering, you will only extend their emotions into your world and create problems you don’t want or need. If you attempt to show compassion, hold out a hand and lift them up; you may find you’re picking yourself up as well.

Additional Insight:

We create what we express. Don’t allow the emotions of others to control your thoughts, responses and actions. You have enough of your own frustration going on, you don’t need to pile onto it by allowing others to feed your fears; nor do you need to feed theirs.

There’s a time to share struggles as a release to let go of some of your frustration. But this should be done in a controlled environment where others can share their compassion and provide positive ideas, comfort and solutions to your woes. Simply commiserating with others creates an environment of energy that attracts more of the same and pulls you both (or all) down further than you are.

If you can create a cone of power for positive actions (such as healing), than you can create the same cone of power for sending out and receiving back negative actions. Even if you don’t realize you’re doing it.

The Divine Universe has a way of helping you move the negative influences out of your life if you will allow it to happen. That computer crash could be the Divine’s way of pushing you away from negative influences. The loss of a Twitter account maybe pushing you away from negative influences. Losing a job that you know was in jeopardy could be pushing you out of a bad situation and forcing you toward something better. If you continually fight against it and continue old patterns that you refuse to let go of, you will only feed the beast and increase the negativity around you. So don’t forget to listen to that inner voice that tells you to walk away, avoid this person or that situation, to move onto a new job or living situation.

Decide today what kind of year you want to have and change your thinking. Create an Affirmation to Evolve The Spirit within and repeat it out loud each morning. Paste to your bathroom mirror, your refrigerator, your favorite cup for coffee or tea. Make a sticky note for your car’s dashboard, or to stick on the side of your PC. Add it to the start page of your computer, or to a local home page on your browser.  Put everywhere you want or need to so that you see it at least once a day, or several times a day. Remind yourself that you’re starting this year with a new positive attitude and a real concerted effort to change things for the better.

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Seven of Pentacles – Inverted

7 of Pentacles: Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Stop scratching at the little irritations around you, it’s only your frustrations at work. You’re liable to make those little things into something big that will fester and cause bigger problems. Instead look beyond the stress and see what you want for your day as if it’s already here and you’re already living it. Don’t let the stress win the day, rather allow the love and compassion for self to rule!

Additional Insight:

YOU determine what kind of day you have with each and every thought. Give into the pressure put upon you by others and you all them to control your day and perhaps even your life. Don’t sit back and allow their efforts to dictate your reactions.

Take control of your own thinking. Manage your own expectations and release others from the expectations you put upon them. You’re only setting them up to fail. You don’t like it when others set the bar for you to reach, so why do you do that to others?

Be responsible for your own thoughts and reactions. Others maybe having a bad day, but their energy shouldn’t dictate your reactions. Rise above the fray and allow yourself to love you and create the day you desire.

You can do this. Make this the day that you think of yourself with kindness and patience and all those little irritations won’t seem so important.

Your roots grow deep and provide strength and stability to all that you do. Allow the fire beneath you to inspire your passion and your dreams. This blaze of energy can be tapped into at any time, from anywhere and provide you with the electricity to empower all your actions and deeds. Use it and create the year you desire from the very beginning.

Additional Insight:

How you start your year is equally important to how you start your day. Make sure you begin this new year with a clear vision of empowerment, abundance and prosperity of health, happiness and yes, even finances.  How you align your energies within yourself today can and will impact the following 364 days of the year.

Ground your thoughts within your being and remember that you are not alone in this effort. Connect your energy to the divine Mother Earth and feel her energy infuse with your own to provide you with strength and an unlimited supply of physical energy to manifest that which you need.
