Relationships take work. Especially when they exist over great distances. Make the effort to remind those you care about that you still care, support and love them. Don’t let the work get in the way or grab all your attention away from what you’re really working for. You could wind up losing what matters the most to you. Pay attention and together you can grow your abundance create a fertile future.
No relationship is perfect. They all have their ups and downs, arguments and frustrations. Don’t allow the little things to put so much stress on anyone in the family, that they begin to overshadow the good things. Communication is the key to sustaining everything.
There maybe times when keeping things together takes a little more work than others. That’s ok. It’s the normal ebb and flow of life. It’s ok to be upset, or even mad about something. As long as the anger doesn’t get out of proportion and blows up into consequences you wish never occurred.
Talk about what you need, don’t expect others to simply know what that is, or read your mind. You can’t read theirs, so why do you expect them to read yours. No it’s not obvious and your signs weren’t clear. Stop trying to drop clues or leave hints. Come out say what you need, no matter what it is.
But makes sure that door of communication is open both ways. Make sure you listen to what’s being said and not what you think you’re hearing. Don’t make assumptions and be over sensitive about what you’re hearing. How you share your feelings and needs is equally important to what you hear in return. You’re not the perfect person either.
The key to any relationship is having respect for the one you care about and being open to any topic of communication that exists in life. What you need, what bothers you, what you wish you could do. All these things create a harmony and balance. Not only between you, but to your entire family group, and to those around you. Even to the areas you live and work in. So be calm, don’t yell and talk things through.
