The only reason to look back is to see where mistakes were made and learn from them. Stop beating yourself up over what should have been, but wasn’t. The guilt will not move you forward, nor will it allow you to be free of the past. Get over it and start making the right moves forward.

We all have done things we wish we hadn’t done, or had done differently. Feeling guilty over the choices you made will not make a difference for tomorrow. The events behind you will still be there and still be in the same context as they were then. Beating yourself up about it will not change anything.

But learning from the lesson and applying that knowledge to choices in the here and now will make a difference. It will help you let go and move forward with greater understanding and wisdom. Where as the guilt is only an anchor holding you in the past and doomed to repeat the lessons you’re to learn.

If you feel you must apologize to someone, or try to make amends, write them a letter or call them on the phone. And if you feel you can’t do that, write the letter anyway and hold a private ceremony to connect with them through the Divine spirit in your life. Sending energy of sorrow for the pain you caused, and forgiveness for the actions taken; safely set your letter on fire and allow the words to be carried upon the smoke to the intended recipient.

Remember, forgiveness isn’t for others; it’s for you to let go and move on from the past mistakes that keep you chained in the negativity that no longer belongs in this moment. Let it all go and be free to face the bright light of the future again.

You’ve nothing to lose, so go for it. Sometimes taking the chance and creating your own opportunity is exactly what the Divine Universe is waiting for you to do. Instead of sitting there and worrying what others are going to do for you, create your own luck and make things happen.

Additional Insight:

Sometimes being in a rut means you’re not seizing the moment to do what you’re intended to accomplishment. Going through the emotions and doing for others puts money in their pocket while you’re still spinning your wheels and trying to dig out.

The problem is that the digging often goes sideways or takes you farther into the hole you’re already in. Stop it. Prioritize the steps that will work for YOU. If that means putting other things on hold for the week, then do it. You’ll make more progress working on the tasks meant to create the opportunities for YOU to manifest your ideas and dreams.

You may feel that the tasks at hand are where the prosperity lay. But if you haven’t developed the foundation for you, those tasks can’t be completed. So set them aside for a day or two, or a week if needs be. There’s no sense throwing more effort behind something that won’t be accomplished. You must take time to create the whole package from the beginning, not the middle!

No one is going to hand you the gifts on a silver platter. It takes work and effort. No one is going to do that work for you. In fact there are some things no one else can do for you.

If you believe in yourself, then believe you have the ability and more importantly the time to work on things that create the foundation for your own efforts. Without that initial work, nothing else can be created, built or expanded.

No relationship is stress or strife free. Stop putting a stake in the ground and expecting others to live up to an expectation that no one can meet. Not even you! True love involves compassion, communication and compromise, especially in times of frustration. Show your strength and be supportive, instead of being stubborn and in-different!

While swords can represent strife and conflict, they can also represent strength. You can triumph in situations by using your heart to show compassion and to communicate calmly about your feelings. Remember you’re the one who is responsible for your own emotions.

“You made me feel” is the worst thing you can to someone, and it’s also not true. “When this happened, I felt like” is the more accurate way to define your own feelings. Blaming others for your emotions is not being accountable, passes the buck and not fair to others.

Take time to think about your role in conflict, because it really does take two to have a fight. And while today many people are expecting a carefree relationship, that Hollywood version of life really doesn’t exist. The ebb and flow of any relationship can put a strain on friendship and love. But it can also build strength and success. It all depends on how you take responsibility for your own actions and deeds.

Stop complaining about the little things and start focusing on the strengths you bring to each other. Change the sword of angst to a sign of triumph and success!

You must give a little, in order to receive a lot. What you put out today will return to you in abundance. But only if you’re willing to give up something first. You don’t have to give away everything, but you do need to put forth a little effort to manifest what you want. It’s not going to come simply by wishing for it.

The old adage “God helps those who help themselves” is true even if you’re God is a Goddess. In order to make things happen, you actually have to do something to help it manifest in your life.

Stop complaining about what you don’t have. Start focusing on what you do have and how it can work for you! Putting in the time and effort is key to making your plans a success.

If you are putting everything into one basket, then think about what you are ignoring or not giving enough time and attention too. Life is about balance and too much of one thing is never a good thing. Even if you feel working on that thing will make the other things better.

So if you’re all work and no play, you could lose what’s most important to you. If you’re all play and no work, then what you’re hoping for cannot manifest without your energy and attention.

It’s not the “time” that matters most. It’s the quality and effort you put into the time available. Watch your words and expression of energy. Smile, laugh, be positive, share your dreams and listen to the dreams of others. Be balanced in your actions and you’ll attract what you need and what you want.

Take a shot in the dark and see what happens. You’re ignoring your instincts and that’s never a good thing. You know the answer to the question that lay before you. Stop ignoring it and look at it closely! It’s not what you think it is. In fact you might discover it’s not bad at all!

You’re allowing your emotions to control your thinking instead of your reason. Stop expecting the other shoe to drop and simply take care of what needs to be done. It’s not nearly as bad as you think it is.

Imagining the worst only creates energy to create and manifest what you fear most. If you don’t want that to happen then simply STOP IT! How many times have you said out loud to others “be careful what you think, you might create it”? Well how about taking your own advice.

Stop focusing on what others have gone through, or what they say you should do. They don’t know you as well as they think they do and you’ve never been impressed with their decisions in the first place. So stop hearing the nay-sayers!

You are in control of your future. You are the ruler of your domain. How you think and what you think creates the energy that manifests on your path today, next week, next year and beyond. If you want things to turn around, then you must start listening to your higher reason and spiritual instincts.

Take responsibility for the things on your plate. Stop avoiding the things you are accountable for. Take on those things that cross your path head on. If you do, you’ll discover there are easy solutions to all the challenges that lay before. You’ve worked hard to develop the connection between your conscious mind and your higher spiritual connection. Use it! Allow it to direct your choices and your path. Make things easy on yourself and do the things you’ve come to believe in. It’s not simply a game of words, it’s also a game of deeds.

Walking Your Talk © isn’t just in what you say to others; it means being an example in deed and actions. Apply your words to yourself before you start offering them to others.

What Is The Meaning Of…..

So you want to be a “____fill in the blank____”. Ok, it’ takes time and research. Are you willing to put in the effort? Then here’s how you get started.

“The Library at Alexandria was in charge of collecting all the world’s knowledge, and most of the staff was occupied with the task of translating works onto papyrus paper. It did so through an aggressive and well-funded royal mandate involving trips to the book fairs of Rhodes and Athens. … Any books found on ships that came into port were taken to the library, and were listed as “books of the ships”. Official scribes then copied these writings; the originals were kept in the library, and the copies delivered to the owners.” – Wikipedia

Today when people speak of the Library of Alexandria they’re often referring to a place of infinite knowledge. A place where you can go to learn anything, discover anything and access the knowledge of time and history.

Today we are fortunate to have access to an equivalent library at our finger tips. Right there in front of you. Where you’re reading this article. You have access to the Library of Alexandria. You merely need to follow a few simple rules for using it.

I receive a great deal of email and quite often it’s from people asking me “Have you heard of this -term-” or “What does this -word- mean?” or “How do I become -this title/label”.

I don’t mind sharing what I think, but I do try to give people resources to do their own research. I can give you a fish, or I can teach you to fish. I prefer to teach you how to fish so you have the tools and ability to learn for yourself. I can’t learn for you. But I can help you learn how to achieve the knowledge you seek. It’s the difference between empowering others, or putting yourself in power over others. I have too much on my plate, I don’t have time for the latter. Continue reading →

Be cautious today, some things you’re handling right now could be a double edge sword. Control your emotions and don’t let them get away from you. Falling to quickly in love can be as dangerous and flying off the handle and becoming angry. It’s important to manage your expectations and maintain an even keel throughout the day and night!

Additional Insight:

Cups govern emotions and abundance in the form of mind, body and spirit. Each must be maintained in balance with the other to ensure you’re walking forward with purpose and clarity. So be careful when your mind starts to get away from you and begins leading you down a path you’re not meant to take.

Allowing your emotions to get away from you and read more into what’s going on because you feel flattered or favored can cut the other way and create deep wounds. Keep your excitement in check. Let events unfold with a balanced view. Don’t rush in where fools dare to tread.

Let your spirit be the boss today and hold your emotions and body back from making potential mistakes. If this event leads to something bigger and better, it will do so slowly. Enjoy the day’s journey and look forward to tomorrow’s travels. But don’t try to get to where you’re going all in one shot. You need the slow walk to ensure this is really what you want and that the changes it will bring are really what you’re willing to sacrifice.

Life is all about change. Make sure you are deciding the changes you take are taken with a clear head and focused view. Make sure what you may leave behind is really what you’re willing to give up. And what you’re walking toward is really where you want to go.

Relax, you have plenty to spare today. Whether you realize it or not, you’re shining bright enough to light up the night sky. Those you need to notice you, are taking notice and sending positive and good energy your way. You don’t need to search too hard to find the source. But you do need to be ready and prepared when opportunity comes knocking today.

All the searching and work you’ve been doing has taken root and new opportunities are emerging. Weeks ago the Faeries said to be patient, there’s working being done on your behave behind the scenes. That work is about to be revealed. You’ve felt the change coming for a couple of weeks now, haven’t you?

Make sure you have your ducks in a row and your preparation is ready to hit the ground running. You’ve worked long and hard for this opportunity, but the only way it’s going to see the light of day is if you’re ready for it. Luck has nothing to do with it.

Spend the day crossing the ‘T’s and dotting the ‘I’s. Read over what you’ve done, what plans you’ve made and make additions, corrections and alterations where needed. You’ve worked hard for this. Don’t stop now and drop everything just before the brass ring becomes close enough to grab it.

Let your light shine and be the beacon of all your hopes and dreams. You’ll make it through the forest and you’ll have time to celebrate later in the week.
