What Is A Spiritual Expert – Series

Eyes of the Hunter

Eyes of the Hunter by Charles Alexander

A Six Part Series of Leadership and Inspiration

One of the first set of articles I created for my new blog in February 2012, dealt with what it takes to be a Spiritual Expert. I wrote these at the behest of my students entering into teaching themselves. Asking me to give some guidance for success and warning for the pitfalls.

I finally decided to put the idea into action when I started receiving a large number of questions from others about how to get started on their path of Shaman, Priest or Priestess. So it maybe time to talk about this series again.

It’s important to note that this path of spiritual expert is not an easy one. Ask any Minister, Priest, Shaman or whatever title one has taken and they’ll probably agree. The moment you put this idea of Spiritual Leader out there into the Divine Universe, you set energy in motion to mold you and your life.

If you are committed and sincere, the lessons brought to you will be designed to fulfill your goal. Some will be interesting, others will be difficult and some will even knock you on your backside. Be careful what you ask for; you might get it. Continue reading

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Ace of Swords – Inverted

Ace Of Swords - Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

You cannot triumph over adversity if you’re stabbing someone in the heart to do it. Your actions speak louder than words today. Focusing on the “green” monster at the cost of what’s really important in your life is not success. Be careful about what you sacrifice. You may not be able to get it back.

Additional Insight:

If you are ignoring those who care about you and have supported you all this time, they may feel you’ve turned your back on them. Even though the hard work you’re putting in is for them, they may think what’s more important is the time they get to spend with you.  Here in the U.S., the money monster is “green”, it maybe a different color where you are. But what ever color it is, it isn’t the most valuable thing in your life.

Swords deal with strength and success when upright. But stress and strife are prominent when inverted. Every deals with stress in their own way. Some shut down and block out the world. Some sit in the darkness, or sleep through the day, others cry, and then there are those who yell and scream about anything that doesn’t work their way. Don’t adversely judge those for doing what they do, when your response is to throw yourself into a project that ignores all others around you.

Balance in life means saving time for those you love as much as it does for working when it’s time to do so. If you reach the top and have the financial abundance you seek, but have no one to share it with; what value does that success really have?

No expects you not to care about lost hope, or the struggles to feed and care for your family. But at least twice a week, you should be putting their presence in your life up front and at the top of the list. The abundance of love is equally important in your life. It gives you strength to endure, courage to fight and holds you up to face one more day. There really is something to the old adage “Love conquers all”.
