Love Triumphs All

Today the U.S. Supreme Court struck down the Defense of Marriage Act, known as DOMA, stating it discriminated against same-sex couples.

Then they declined to rule on California’s Proposition 8 which prohibits same-sex marriage, leaving in place a lower court’s decision that struck-down the ban.

From a pagan perspective:
It is important to note that Pagan Metaphysics strives for peace and harmony within the Divine Universe and within the individual being. Through mutual respect and acceptance we can discover and acquire peace for all and create a world that is harmonious for everyone. Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Four of Pentacles

Be content today. Your baskets are full of abundance of the most important kind. Friendship and love tops that list. But watch out for those who are jealous of what you have. They’re looking forward to seeing you struggle. Don’t give into their diversion or take the bait to fight or argue with them. They’re really not worth your time.

Additional Insight:

Be cautious of those who “have it all”, but don’t have love in their life. You may not have the materialistic things they have, but you have the truly important things in life. Love and family can carry you through any challenge, any obstacle and brings joy without spending a penny.

Their “top of the line” car, cloths, vacations and “things” don’t bring them true happiness. Thus they can become angry and jealous when you’re smiling. They may even look for ways to break up your family or your love.

Keep communication open between you and those you care about. When you love someone, there’s nothing you can’t share. Don’t automatically believe what others say about the one you care about. Misunderstanding, assumptions and out right lies can destroy trust and respect unnecessarily.

Be open and honest with the ones you love and you will overcome anything together with trust and respect.
