Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Knight of Wands – Inverted

Knight of Wands: Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

You don’t have to kneel before anyone to gain their respect or attention. Stop putting yourself in that second class citizen mindset. Show your confidence today. Speak up for yourself, don’t be afraid to share your ideas, even if they’re outside the box. That expanded vision is exactly what the world needs today!

Additional Insight:

Doing everything the same way as it has been done, might be safe, but it doesn’t make headway. To move things forward and achieve needed gains, sometimes you have to look outside the box. You’re good at that. So why don’t you allow your imagination and innovation to speak for you. Stop letting others intimidate you, simply because they don’t understand today’s world.

It’s a day to Know Your Value!! You’re not the stuff that sits in the shade and helps the mushroom to grow. You are the mushroom! You have value. It’s not about money alone, it’s about your contribution to your work, your relationships, your own life overall. It’s about knowing yourself with confidence, being able to advocate for yourself, and marketing your own brand.

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: The Star

The Star

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Go with the flow today. You’re being guided to where you need to be, not only for your own sake, but for those who cross your path as well. It’s hard to tell sometimes why we’re being taken down a certain road, or lead to an unscheduled location or event. Don’t worry, everything is flowing as it should.

Additional Insight:

There’s a reason you need to be where you find yourself today. Don’t fight it and don’t worry about not being on schedule. The benefit will outweigh any problem that might arise from your altered schedule.

Change isn’t easy, especially when you’re not looking for it. So make the most of now and be open to new opportunities. You could be presented with something you never expected and you’ll want to be ready when it arrives. Continue reading

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Knight of Swords

Knight Of Swords

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Keep your weapons by your side today. Available when needed, but not out looking for battle. Words are like swords; they can cut both ways. Your sign of strength is not in your ability to gloat, but rather your compassion to reach out and heal those around you.

Additional Insight:

You can be confident and satisfied about your victories. There’s no reason not to feel relieved and happy about all that has transpired. But one thing you shouldn’t do, is gloat about your victory. Yes you worked hard, you stuck to your plan, you overcame and achieved. Be proud of that.

But resist the urge to “rub it in their face”. Karma can work against the winners, just as easily as it can against those who have lost. Just remember someone else is still struggling to work things out and hoping to find the bright spot in the day. There’s always someone in the world who has it worse than you do. No matter what the situation, you’re still blessed and still have the ability to win the day in the long run. Continue reading

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: King of Wands

King of Wands

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Take time to think things through and don’t rush through decisions. Even the small choices can lead to big changes that impact your life for years to come. It’s a day for contemplation and research. Try to put off giving your answer until later this evening.

Additional Insight:

Sometimes we don’t realize how the little choices in life can impact our future in a big way. Not all choices we face in a single day can change your life forever. But those that do, should be considered and weighed for the coming months and years.

Every day we make little judgements about things. What’s the weather like and how does that affect what you wear today? What’s on your schedule and how should you plan your tasks around those events? Who will you see today and how what impression do you want to make when that meeting occurs? We take time to wonder and ponder about these little things all the time. Why rush through the choices that will really impact your life?

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Six of Cups – Inverted

Six of Cups - Inverted

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Be careful what you’re holding inside the bubble. It maybe pleasing to you, but it could be so far from reality that you’re losing what you desire most. Breathe, relax and know that everything really is going to be ok. But it’s time to face the facts.

Additional Insight:

Sometimes we have a picture in our mind of the world around us, because it brings us peace or happiness. We’re afraid to open the door and expand our view from a sense of caution. Leaving us worried that what we thought isn’t what’s really happening.

Don’t allow this fear to control your life. And yes, it is a form of fear. Even if it’s something you find pleasing and especially if it involves the thoughts or actions of someone else. Love really is blind. We often ignore signs of things going on, simply to protect our emotions and thoughts. This can be true for work or your home life. So pay attention.

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Four of Wands

4 of Wands

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Ideas come from all corners. Don’t let the “status” of someone’s position negate their contribution to the team. Everyone has something to learn. Sometimes those without all the prestige have a better understanding of a subject, through experience. Listen to them. They know what they’re talking about.

Additional Insight:

There’s a difference between book smart and life smart. Neither one is better, or worse than the other. Book smart without experience fails to recognize all the elements of a situation. Which often leads to unintended consequences.

Life smart is book smart learned the hard way. Through the trial and error of action. And it’s a fallacy to assume that life smart has never cracked a book.  It’s only through action that we implement the knowledge we’ve obtained and develop wisdom. Continue reading

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Judgement

Major Arcana Judgement

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

Sitting in judgement of others is a risky business. You have no idea what someone else is going through, even if they try to tell you their story. Remember there’s always three sides to any event. Your side, their side and the truth. It’s not a bad thing, but we all have our own perceptions based on past and present events in our own lives that can cloud our judgement. Today, stick to your own business and keep your head focused on your tasks. You’ll get through the day unscathed.

Additional Insight:

It’s a live and let live day. This is not the world according to you and you may not have all the facts needed to judge someone or a situation. Sticking your nose in or making assumptions can seriously backfire on your comments and actions. Stop, check your own emotions and ask yourself, why does this make me so angry or hurt?

Your own introspection can show you what past event is influencing your feelings and reactions. For today, it really is a case of “it’s me, not you”. So remember, what we don’t like in others, is merely an exaggerated perspective of what we don’t like about ourselves. If you don’t feel as though you’re being listened to, ask yourself, who am I not listening to? Continue reading

Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Six of Cups

Six of Cups

Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft

You might be feeling tired today. You’ve put out a lot of energy of late on a lot of things and in a lot of different directions. Don’t forget to take some time to rest and re-energize your own batteries. Your world can really get by without your supervision for one day. So plan some time for yourself to relax. If not today than for this weekend. You need the rest.

Additional Insight:

Sometimes we need to take a step back and allow the seeds we’ve planted room to grow. Remember a watched pot takes a lot longer to boil, then if you walk away and give it time to simmer. The same is true for hovering over work that needs to get done.

At some point you have to give others the responsibility, the time and the room to complete their tasks. Today holds the lessons of delegation. If you’ve asked someone to do something, back off and let them do it. You lingering over them and constantly checking in will only slow the process down. Continue reading

Big News – The Daily Drawing Returns

A New View and Outlook

The Daily Tarot Meditation Drawing Returns November 1st, 2017

It’s been a long year of struggle, challenge and change. From health issues to moving to a new home in a new state, we’ve been on a roller coaster ride this year. I think things have finally settled down and improved on all fronts.

I believe the only constant in the Divine Universe is that things change. How you allow those events to impact you is totally up to you. You can fight them tooth and nail, and often make things worse. Or you can allow the Universe to push you where you need to be and guide the flow as best you can. We’ve been guided to the foothills of North Carolina and a healthier environment with a much better outlook for the future.

Sunday Homily: Becoming One With Yourself

Spirit, Soul, Body – Living As One

Part of living and walking your talk, is learning to live as One with the Divine I think it’s hard for us to put it into a box of this life as Spirit in you life. Whatever that is to you, walking your path means bringing your spirit into your daily life and expressing the love and compassion in all things. Sometimes that can get confusing and people struggle with the concept of becoming one with spirit. How do we do this, what aspects of self are we uniting and connecting. How do we live the talk and belief of our spiritual path?

It can be a daunting perspective to grasp for some. And that’s understandable. Many spiritual teachers talk about “Becoming One”, and explain why it’s important. But how many break it down and explain the details of what that means and how it can be accomplished? Today, we’ll look at how Pagan Metaphysics looks at this concept and how we can become one with the self. Along with the Divine in your life.

To start we need to break down the aspects of self. Who are we? How are we connected and intertwined with the Divine in the first place? Living life actually starts with understanding the processes of physical Life and Death. You can read more about the Pagan Metaphysical view from “What Happens When We Die – The Process of Life and Death”  here on Springwolf Reflections. Understanding who we are as Spiritual beings and how we choose our past lifetimes to create a new embodiment helps to visualize the components of self that we’re bringing together. Continue reading
