In your center being resides the true you. Express yourself from this place of balance and you’ll shine brightly for others to take notice. Stop putting on a plastic face to be what others expect you to be. You are the only person who can be you. Be it with courage, pride and confidence. Let the real you stand in the lime light and you’ll attract the abundance you seek.

It is in your best self-interest to be yourself instead of trying to be what others expect you to be. Trying to keep up appearances is both time-consuming and fraught with hidden dangers. From using all your energy to be something you’re not, to keeping up with the untruths you share to hide the real you.

You’re not a machine with switches that can be turned on and off. You’re not a metal robot without warmth or feeling. At some point you’re going to slip up and that’s going to cost you more than you know or realize. All those trappings to please others, or be what they want, will be lost. And you may discover those “things” aren’t what you wanted in the first place. The deception cannot last when they’re not based on the truth you hold within your being. Even if you’re only deceiving yourself.

No one has the right to put their expectations upon you and how you live your life. They’re not here to learn your lessons or work through your karma. They have their own to deal with and you maybe the one who is here to share that with them. But in the end, what you have on your spiritual blue print is for you to work through and take care of. You can’t do that, if you’re not being true to your own inner being and higher self.

When you walk that path of self truth, you discover the happiness of who you are. You are free to think and believe as you choose. You are lifted out of the muck and given room to spread your wings and fly. You learn self-love and develop confidence in what you do and who you are. With this perspective you’re better able to understand why things happen the way they do, change what you don’t like and re-enforce the things you like. You empower yourself to be the true you.

Be kind to yourself. Be the star of your own show and allow your light to sparkle even when darkness is around you. You will attract others who follow the same rules and hold the same values. You may not be exactly alike, but you’ll have much more in common than you think. You might even be admired for Walking Your Talk and lifting up others who can’t see over the next hill. Be you! You’re the only one who can.
