For anyone who loves sci-fi, from Star Trek to Firefly to Doctor Who and anything in Victorian period clothing, steampunk is a very happy world indeed.” ~ Barbara Moore

Oh yes it is indeed. I quite agree with that! And it’s probably that Victorian period look that attracts me the most. But more about this later.

I’m a creature of habit and routine. I like it that way. While I can easily have moments of spontaneity; what Gemini doesn’t, I do like my regular things that must be done kept in a certain order. And that includes pulling the card of the day.

All of our drawings to this point have used the Mystic Faery Tarot by Linda Ravenscroft. A beautiful deck that I have felt very drawn to and connected with. Nature Faeries are a big part of my life and my day. And this deck is not only amazingly artistic, it’s fantastic for reading and interpreting the messages from spirit. And from the Fae.

I began pulling a daily card to share on December 1, 2009. Five years of using the same deck. I have other decks of course, but it wasn’t until recently that I’ve felt the need to let the faeries rest. A new deck and a new challenge was in the works.

On a cold Saturday night I was scrolling through Pinterest when I found an image of the Major Arcana’s Star that grabbed my attention. Investigating I discovered the card came from a deck called the Steampunk Tarot. Off to Google Images to see more. Oh boy! Continue reading

Bells will be ringing in the changes and transitions in this chapter of your life. You can choose to see those changes as struggles with sorrowful emotions. Or you can look forward with faith and welcome in the new. Remember all clouds have a silver lining and you’re the one who selects your perspectives. Make the decision to be happy with the energy coming your way. Get excited about what you’ll discover over the next little hill. You’ll be glad that you did.


Additional Insight:

You maybe saying some good-byes or fare-the-wells. That’s ok. You’ve gotten what you needed from those encounters and it’s time to move on to something better. It was nice while it lasted, but you really do deserve more.

Whither it’s a relationship, friendship or a position at work or in a group, the writing was on the wall. Did you not notice the little signs that trying to tell you it was time to let go and move on? Often times when we don’t listen to our gut instincts and push through the feelings, the struggles become harder. Until the Divine force in your life has to give you a kick in the pants to get off the bench and make changes happen.

You’re always given the chance to see where the path is taking you. But when you constantly refuse to act upon it, you’re only make things harder on yourself. Go with the flow and accept what transpires. Know that this is for the best and for your better interests. There are many decisions and choices involved that have brought you to this point. And some of those you had nothing to do with. As is the case sometimes when we cross paths with other souls. Continue reading
