Don’t wait until you’re forced to get some rest and take care of yourself. Burning the candle at both ends for a long period of time isn’t going to help you get ahead. Especially if it wears you down and weakens your system into sickness. Balance is the key to making this week go smoothly. Take time to do what you need, but you must also take time to rest and enjoy those around you.
If you continue to get up early, stay up late and don’t allow your physical time to rest and recoup, you’re going to bring on illness that knocks you off your feet. This week you must put in some time to balance your efforts between work, play and rest.
Too much of anything isn’t good for you. No matter what the combination of work, play and rest, you really need to figure out a balanced schedule that allows you to do all those things. Don’t underestimate the value of a good nights sleep.
Just as your brain needs time to concentrate, your heart needs time to care for those you love and what ever your passion is to relax. But your physical body also needs time to recoup its energy. Not to mention the time your soul needs to connect to your subconscious and conscious minds to review lessons, events and help you with answers to situations you face in your work or play. Sleep isn’t only important for your physical being, it’s important for your spiritual being too.
Make sure you take time to get in a nap, sleep an extra 15min in the morning, or go to bed an hour earlier than usual. All your other activities will thank you for it. And you might discover a few solutions to some issues you face, that you weren’t able to notice before.
You can order a personal reading from Spring through the Services at Spring’s Haven. We offer both in-house and email/phone/skype consultations. As a Ministerial organization, all our consultations are private and strictly confidential.
There will be no drawing from 11/27 to 11/29 while we celebrate the holiday.
