Time to work on home and hearth. Get things ready for the coming months to ensure you remain safe and warm. Think of others around you who don’t have your blessings. Be careful not to complain, brag, or take things you have for granted. Someone close to you may be struggling from day to day and your self-pity will go against the grain.
Those little things you’ve been putting off need your attention before they get worse. You don’t want to be forced to spend a boat load of money to repair something you’ve been ignoring.
Whither it’s the heat and rain, or snow and cold; you need to take care of these things to keep your family safe, warm and protected. You can work together to build your shelter, and have some fun doing it.
It’s not a day for frustrations however. Don’t start complaining about the little things that in the scheme of hardship are pretty small. Those close to you are still struggling each and every day simply to make it through to tomorrow. Your complaints for self-pity will only seem as if you’re gloating about your blessings. While they wish they had that minor problem.
Reach out to those close to you and help out. Even the smallest gesture will mean a lot to them. And it might help them repair their world, even if it’s for a brief moment.
