No one is throwing swords at you, on purpose at least. You’re allowing your own insecurities to get the best of you and seeing attacks that aren’t really there. While some are not happy with you, it’s not because of something you did. Rather you remind them of what they haven’t done or what they allowed to slip through their fingers. It’s ok. Put your own fears to rest and be happy with who you are.
You have come a long way and made some remarkable changes in your life. But you’re still allowing those nagging comments from years and even decades ago, to plague your confidence. That self-conscious view is keeping you from going for what you desire. Of course caution is needed to maintain that fine line between confidence and arrogance.
But the new you is reminding some around you how much they have stayed the same. That reflection of stagnation is upsetting to them and instead of looking within, they’re blaming you. Sadly you can’t change everyone. But there are those close to you that you can have a heart to heart with and perhaps help them get started on their new life!
In the meantime, be happy with the new you. Use that confident energy to keep moving forward and change the few things you don’t like about yourself. You have conquered so much already! Look how far you’ve come. The is easy in comparison!
