Be careful where you tread as emotions are in delicate balance today. Banish the negative influences that hover around you. Fill the void with faith that everything is going to be ok. Strength and fortitude will get you through the concern of the day. It’s a day of compassion, but remember you need to be compassionate to yourself first. You deserve it too.
There are two astrological influences to think about this week. The waning moon which reminds us to let go of the negative and replace it with the positive. Stop the bad habits, especially those that cause you to replay the negative self talk. Walk away from the toxic people who do nothing but suck your energy and leave you drained. End the fight with those who thrive on confrontation. They can’t push your buttons if you refuse to stay on the battlefield. Quite often, walking away is the best way to win the war.
The second influence comes from the subtle energy shift of the coming Mercury Retrograde that begins on April 28th and will last through May 22nd. This retrograde impacts all communication, written and spoken. Make sure you’re getting questions answered and resolve details that have you confused before the 28th! Miscommunication is likely to make your emotions imagine the worst and bring your energy down even further.
Remember that you can’t always see what others are suffering through. They maybe putting on a brave face simply to get through the day. Just like you do. The swords remind us that Strength & Weakness, Endurance & Struggle, Respect & Animosity are all in play today. The King reminds us that we are the ruler over our choices and the journey we choose to walk through. Make sure you’re aware and mindful of the things you say, do and how you react to the stress of others. Lashing out due to stress or anxiety could cause you to struggle more than you want and create animosity that you don’t need right now.
Compassion is a great thing, but it can’t be given at the expense of your own needs. Giving the shirt off your back isn’t going to keep you warm when the storm comes. Sometimes saying no is the only compassionate thing you can do. As others need to learn to be accountable and responsible for their own choices. Just as you do.
Today make a real effort to align yourself with the Divine presence in your life. Balance your energies and get out of gloom or feelings of desperation. Give yourself a break and rely on your strength and fortitude to carry you to the weekend. You’ve been through much worse than this. And this isn’t as bad as you’re trying to make it out to be. Pay attention to the details and take care of your own business today. Don’t put it off because you don’t want to face the issue. You’ll only make things worse.
As you resolve the things that have you worried you’ll see how silly your concern has been. The other shoe won’t drop and you won’t lose everything. By the weekend, things won’t seem so dire and you’ll wonder why you worried in the first place. Have faith, believe that you really are being taken care of and guided to a better state of mind and situation. You’ve overcome the battle, now give yourself a rest from all the fighting and allow the good things to come your way. You’ve worked for them and more importantly you really do deserve them.
