Today’s Tarot Meditation Drawing: Ace of Wands – Inverted

The Gilded Tarot by Ciro Marchetti - Ace of Wands - Inverted

The Gilded Tarot by Ciro Marchetti

Be careful what you hold onto, you could get burned. Sometimes there’s a very good reason to let go of something you feel passionate about. There’s hidden issues, or unseen attitudes that could land you in a lot of trouble. Don’t regret the decisions you’ve made when you know you’ve done your best. Every thing happens for a reason, in the right time and place when you follow your instincts and go with the flow.

Additional Insight:

Magik is the art of energy manipulation. No other suit in the Tarot represents that art more than the Wands. They represent the essence of Enterprise & Inaction, Inspiration & Pessimism, Distinction & Disregard. They express these energies through the manner in which you put forth your thoughts and deeds. Your intentions are what’s key in the art of magik.

Your intent defines and infuses the energy you put out and what you get in return. But none of us are alone in this world. When you express energy to attain something, you are merging your intention with that of others involved in the situation. One is not more “powerful” or “weaker” than the other. They merge together and move forward with a pattern of energy that can predict the probable outcome of an event based on choices we’ve made.

If your intention is pure, but theirs is not, the Divine Universe has a way of balancing out the situation to keep you from facing issues or hardships that you don’t deserve. Sometimes that means we don’t always get what we “want”. And while it may not feel like it at the time, that’s probably a good thing and a blessings we won’t find out about until later. If at all. So there’s no need to dwell on the situation. Rather chalk it up to an exercise that’s preparing you for the real brass ring you’re really waiting to capture. Because this one wasn’t it.

Today is not the time to fight tooth and nail to hold onto something that has slipped through your fingers. Don’t let it stain your day or your reputation. Disregard the loss as a failure. It’s not. It’s simply the Divine in your life trying to save you from something you don’t want to be involved with in the first place. So let it go and don’t give it another thought. There’s plenty more where that came from and much better opportunities for you lay ahead.

Use what you’ve learned here and trust your instincts instead of fighting against them. Look around you and allow your own intuition to guide you through the vast choices at your finger tips. There is a better situation to focus on now and to apply what you’ve learned. All you have to do is be open and ready to see it in the pile of possibilities.
