You can be the star and shine brightly to inspire others. But be watchful over your ego and always remain humble. You didn’t get where you are on your own. Leave the arrogance behind, or it will be your undoing.

Any form of fame or stardom come with their own unique responsibilities. Whither you’re a star on the stage, on a field or track, or a pulpit, you will be looked up to and admired. Even if you don’t want that.

Every one of us are a Star to someone, be it a mate, parent, or our own children. You have a big part to play in the stage of your own life. Make sure you’re playing the role with honesty. Be who you really are and don’t hide yourself from those around you.

Keeping that secret hidden only fester the light into something dark and unwanted. It can alter your perspectives, which can in-turn alter how you look at others, how you treat those around you and even how you look at yourself.

Whatever it is you don’t like about you, now is time to change it. Stop hiding behind fear or excuses. Love yourself and let your light shine so that you can light the way for others who need someone to inspire them out of the darkness.

Don’t take all the credit and leave the blessings you receive wasted on the floor. Remember all those who helped you get where you are. Be kind and compassionate. Be grateful and give them time and attention when they need it. Don’t wait until it’s convenient for you. It may be way to late by then.

Being the Star may not be the easiest road to walk. But if you earned the right to walk that path, you will have learned the hard lessons that will support you through the journey. Don’t claim to be something you’re not. Don’t exaggerate your travels or claim titles you didn’t earn. If you have the knowledge and show the wisdom you have gained, others will take notice. The accolades and crowning achievements will be given freely by those who you inspire.
